Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Aye mates, as of August 22nd, Pirates of the Caribbean 5 has been given a name! The title is Dead Men Tell No Tales. I was doing some web surfing and came across the title, and it seems to be pretty confirmed. I found it and thought that it would be something worth putting up here! In case you didn't know, the release date is going to be July 10, 2015. Filming should begin late this year or at the start of next year.

I can't say I exactly like the title... it's a little bit cliche. It doesn't really have the same ring to it as At World's End or On Stranger Tides. Either way, that seems to be what we'll be getting. Can't draw too much from the title other than that there will be some dead people in the movie. Perhaps Will Turner and the Flying Dutchman will be making a comeback?

Thoughts or comments? Despite a rather drab title, I still plan to go to a midnight release for this movie! :SkullBullet1:

Blackbeard makes a come back? Could be an entirely new villain. Count on Captain Jack Sparrow to get his Black Pearl in working shape. What deal will he make at what price though? Will Barbossa not beat him to it first thanks to Calypso? Don't see Will and Elizabeth returning since the trilogy will focus on the new love story. Perhaps Poseidon has a bone to pick as usual. Who knows.

Fixed that for you. Since the 4th movie he is just Jack Sparrow. Not once was he called captain, nor did he correct it when others didn't. Unless I'm remembering wrong.

Pirates of the caribbean 5 now delayed by upto a year, they are blaming the flop of The Lone Ranger and money

rofl right. Disney blames everybody else but themselves for assuming that Depp was the sure thing at the box office.

I haven't seen The Lone Ranger for the same reason I won't see most films at the theater: not worth the price of admission. I can buy several DvDs or one Blue Ray for what they charge these days at the movie theater---and stay fit by not eating those goodies on top of it every week!
