Very sorry for that, but with so many people saying they thought it was against the rules, I assumed(not good of me) that you were implying it was against the rules.

I do understand it being hard for the GMs, but they're paid to deal with that.

Anyway, back on main topic, I've had a few recent experiences with Old Sooty. The first was at an invasion on Abassa (read my blog for the whole story if yer interested), the second and more up-close experience, was when I got to be on the same ship with Soot (:D) He was very friendly, very pirating, and even though he only used round shot, he had VERY strong cannons. He didn't mention anything note-worthy, mainly because I showed up half way, but still, it was a great experience :D

Awesome to hear mates! I have yet to see ol' Sooty or Captain Cromwell. That would be really cool to sail with Sooty!

What server were you on, Abassa? Just'a wondering as it seems like ghost sightings usually come up in servers like that(And they tell us to avoid the ideal or full servers, but where do you find the ghosts? :p)

Ghostly sighting do occur on places like abassa because of the amount of people.

Full Servers : She will be there

Ideal Servers : Likely to be there

Quiet Servers: Not Likely to be there

Ahoy everyone. i saw constance for my first time just a few days ago! so happy although i only saw her for a minute after the invasion. but still. hey captain whale cromwell said he let his greed guide his actions and hats why he gives us the gold so we can give it to constance to hlp her husband. CONSTANCE SORROW if you read these HOW CAN WE HELP YOU AND YOUR HUSBAND? and captain whale is there a way the devs can post up notices on when and where we can talk to these ghost gm's like they do with the regular gm's? just a suggestion but it would really be nice because it would end the ghost hunt and help alot.

OMG I JUST RELIZED WHAT SHE MIGHT BE!
Remeber on the second POTC movie their was a dress flying around on the boat and it look just like hers, from what i remember, (i havernt seen that movie in forever) and She made a fire on the boat that spelled out tortuga! Maybe it has something to do with that.
That is my best guess. :/

Actually, it was Elizabeth doing the ghostly stuff. She made her dress fly around and wrote 'Tortuga' in the fire so that the crew of the ship she was on would think it was haunted. Would still be pretty wicked to see Constance write out something in flames, though...her telling people to "get out!" would be much more threatening that way. LOL

I for one would like to see a happy ending for Constance Sorrow and John Moses. In one of her last sightings she asked us to save John from Jolly Roger's army. It would be really cool if we cound give them a happy ending!!

Captain Whale

Saw Constance on Andaba a few days ago...Was randomly tp'ing servers & she was on the wharf.

Got an update on Ol' Sooty!! He appeared during one of the invasions last night and gave us some background on himself. Hopefully Capt. C Ray will give some more details - he was there I was not.

Apparently Ol' Sooty was ordered by Capt. Cromwell to fire upon some Navy ships and he refused. Cromwell then ordered his first mate to do it and somehow Sooty got his foot fouled up in a chainshot round. When the cannon was fired Ol' Sooty became a ghost. So Cromwell seems to be responsible for the deaths of Ol' Sooty, John Moses and Constance Sorrow.

John Moses was hung because the ransom to free him was stolen by Captain Cromwell
Constance Sorrow died of a broken heart
Captain Cromwell - do we know how he died? I can't remember.

What a sordid tale - I am looking forward to seeing where this goes!!!
