i was reading that they are bring in the notoriety lvl to the game, very sad imma be missing it for a while :( but things are looking good and hopefully ill be back in game by the end of this month or beginning of next. cant wait to see you all in game, miss ya tons!

Ok, this is a maybe afk notice. I really don't know. I started classes today, so that will be going on until almost christmas. My gf is moving into town, so I will be spending a lot more time with her. I still have to study for my physics graduate school entrance exam (so going to fail!) which is in early October.

Will I be on? Yes.
Do I know how often? No.
Will it be less often? Probably.

Anyways, I will be on when I can be. Frankly it is my only stress relief (I'll need some of that) outside of my gf so I will make a point to be on.

- I might not be on much this week. Gson will be spending tomorrow night with us and on Wednesday, I have to work an extra shift. So will miss guild night.

Not truely AFK, but prolly won't be around too much this weekend. Labor Day weekend is always busy for me, and with my upcoming work schedule, I have a ton of stuff to do this weekend.

I'll be ingame when time permits, but if I don't see anyone for a few days, I'll catch you after Tuesday.

Okay, so those of you who were on last night know I was having power cord issues. Apparently there was a small power surge, that was none the less big enough to fry my adapter yet leave my laptop untouched. I have a new cord coming, but the delivery date is estimated for Friday. So I won't be in game till I get a new power cord. I will be checking in here off and on, just won't be in game. Looks like I'm gonna miss guild night for the first time. :sadmh9: Rest assured, as soon as I get my new cord, I'm gonna be back. Till then, fight hard and plunder big!!

I am in this thread entirely too much these days.

Well I am thinking I am going to be afk a lot. The biggest thing is I seriously doubt I will make a single guild night from now until Christmas. It just happens to be the best night for me to be with my gf.

However, things are slowing down, so I should be spotted on other days more often than none. It won't be much though.

Anyways, I'll see you around on here, and will get in game when I can.

As scheduled - Phase II for that work project has started (actually started about three weeks ago), and just like the first one - I've been delivered a disaster to clean up.

Since this means long days and nights, my drop-ins will be sparse (though I do plan to hit the game at least a few nights with my pirates to try and get the Rott Quests in on each - can't be letting good free REP just float away :D)

I should be back to my regular evening online time in a day or two. I am in and out of work durring the day and we tag in and out of the hospital durring the evening. Since several people sent PM, here is the scoop.

Daughter is in HS Band. Friday night in 1st Qtr she said she felt really bad and had a fever. took her to hospital and they said regular flu.

Sat. she said it hurt to breath so back to hospital who said Pneumonia too - pediatric ICU.

She was in ICU for 3 days and regular room for 3 or 4 days. We will find out this afternoon if she is relased this afternoon or tomorrow.

One person said "Ouch" to the ICU cost. Not to worry, I have excellent insurance. My out-of-pocket cost for hospital stays is $11.00 per day. <---NOT a Typo....... $11.00 per day. Thanks for the thoughts.

Glad to hear that things with your daughter are getting better. Hope she comes home sooner rather than later.


Just a quick note to all of you: I probably WON'T be around tonight. It's the home opener for the Steelers. I was supposed to be out of town today, so I gave my tickets away. (DAM!) I'm trying to get them back, but I can't just force my nephew to give them to me. (DAM again!)

If I get my tics back, I won't be in-game at all, since kick-off is at 8:30. If I don't get them back, I'll be SOMEWHERE watching the game. So unless it's a total blow out, I won't be anywhere near my puter tonight.

Wow, can you put my dad on your plan? He's self employed, so he has to pay out of pocket. I think his x-ray with CT ran him $600 at the hospital and that was after we went to a satellite center that wanted to charge him $1,200 (that's right... double the cost).

Hence the reason I have never gotten my knee fixed.

I hope your daughter gets better soon, Kid. As I'm sure you know, hospital food s*cks (unless you like jell-o). And contrary to what Scrubs would have us believe, hospitals are not a place of frivolity and hilarious antics. I'm still perturbed about that.

HP has officially made me so mad I've been literally yelling at them, a LOT. Turns out that the cord is backordered and they KNEW that and didn't tell me. As it stands I am now AFK indefinately. They can't tell me for sure when they are getting more cords in, so who knows when I'll be back. I miss you guys a lot, and I hope to see you soon.

You should be able to buy a generic adapter that will work with your laptop just as well. I had to do that with my old laptop. They cost about $30 if I remember correctly...
