Actually it's form Serenity. The voices of Halo 3 ODST are the same as the male actors of Serenity/Firefly. Alan Tudyk plays Wash in Serenity/Firefly and Mickey on ODST, Adam Baldwin plays Jayne in Serenity/Firefly and Dutch in ODST, and finally Nathan Fillon plays Capt. Malcolm "Mal" Reynolds in Serenity/Firefly and Buck in ODST.

I got this next little piece of trivia out of IMDB...
