Can I ask you if you found the picture in the phase files?

MacIronhawk 10-13-2010 12:37 AM

Just by the look of the skeleton face it has to be awesome... and lead to new voodoo staffs... I hope. Probably not, but looking at all of those new staff names gets me excited.

Chimera Doll 10-13-2010 12:42 AM

The Duel Rusty Cutlasses is what the Undead Spanish Conquistadores use.

Joshua Coalskull 10-17-2010 03:14 AM

Speedway Master, Is it an Aztec Idol, or Aztec Skeloton? If not then it has to be an undead version of El Patron or his crew.

ruisen2000 10-17-2010 04:09 AM

Looks more like a half zombie half skeleton to me.. lol
so I guess a new member of the flying dutchman crew?

PrimalDialgaPrime 10-17-2010 11:08 PM

PS. I wonder what this El Dorodo guy has to do with POTCO?

El Dorado was a legendary place that conquistadors brought tales of back to Europe. El Dorado was supposedly the ancient Mayan holy city of gold. There was a Disney movie about it, never seen it? :P

Quetzalcoatl, wonder what in heck's name that is. Also who in the world is Montezuma?

Quetzalcoatl was an ancient city, capital of the Aztec or Mayan empire.... No it's not, as you can see below. XD He was a god apparently. Thanks guys for your... Polite(?) interjections. Just kidding! :laughks2: Also, Montezuma was the Aztec emperor who ruled at the time the Spanish invaded. He was killed by the Conquistadores. Hope that helps.

Also, DUAL RUSTY CUTLASSES!? Best thing ever, just hope it comes out sooner or later. And those darn staffs, waiting for a new "Calling All Testers" any day now. Till then, I'll just sit back and twiddle my thumbs.:bookishfj7:

Actually Quetzalcoatl was an Aztec god. Their capital was Tenochtitlan (pronounced ten-ock-chit-lan). I believe Quetzalcoatl was a vulture, or some other bird...

Quetzalcoatl was an ancient city, capital of the Aztec or Mayan empire. I can't remember correctly. It still stands in Mexico, Google Earth it. Also, Montezuma was the Aztec emperor who ruled at the time the Spanish invaded. He was killed by the Conquistadores. Hope that helps.

actually Quetzalcoatl is also an Aztec god the city was Tenochtitlan like stated above by Davy the Aztecs thought that (I cant remember his name but he was a Spanish conquistador) he was the reincarnation of Quetzalcoatl yeah i lived in Mexico for a few years studied there very interesting stuff.
Oh and by the way Davy he was also part bird in their stories.

johnnyjojo 10-20-2010 04:44 AM

Yes Quetzalcoatl was the Aztec god. But I believe that the capital's name was Taxilla, from my Age of Empires II memory. And Hernando Cortez was the one they thought was Quetz. Pirates of the Caribbean expands into these myths, especially in the prequels as I said before. Hernan's ghost comes as Jack searches for the Sword of Cortez, the one which made the Aztecs think that he was a god (because it "could make kingdoms fall"). But ultimately Jack summons Monchtezuma to defeat Cortez. Quetz is also mentioned many times, even in the 1st movie (or at least Aztec gods were mentioned there).

My bad, fixing it then. :P

Been awhile since world history class as you can imagine.

I was thinking of a city devoted to Quetzalcoatl, can't remember the name. Thanks guys.

Hablamos mal espanol y aztecas. :laughks2:

EDIT: I realized I just said "We speak Spanish bad...." See? Just proving my point. :laughks2:
