Granted, Fred appears and you become best friends. You do everything together, and he has a special bed in the fridge. One day, while at the supermarket with Fred, you need to buy some bananas, because you were out of them (and you certainly weren't going to eat your best friend!). Fred is upset because he's seeing his kind being bought and skinned, then eaten. You try to reassure Fred, but he just assumes that you're one of them. He falls out of your hand and drops onto the floor, where he is picked up by a member of staff and thrown away. Suddenly, the staff member bursts into flames. The bin tips over, and you see a mutated, humanoid Fred, terrorizing the supermarket. He then says in a big booming voice, 'I HATE YOU, SAMUEL THE AWESOME!'. You then exit the exploding supermarket, and jump off a cliff in sadness and overwhelming depression.

I wish for invincible socks.
