Well, I'm quasi-AFK. AT&T can't figure out what's wrong with my internet lines...they've been working on it since last Wednesday. I'll keep trying to get into the game (I've been trying on non-sociable pirates), but have only had spotty success so far. I can get in for 5 or so minutes, then freeze or get disco'd.

I am ashamed.

Not only did I miss the last guild night of the year, four officer promotions, a glow fest that could light up Kansas, and this year's Christmas Picture, Dueces style, but I didn't even tell anyone I was going to be gone so much.

I belatedly report my afkness. I have been over at my gf's house all week just spending time when I have it. I have been so busy having so much fun and relaxation I never made it on here to type this exact thing up until tonight.

I hope everyone will have the grandest of Holidays without the pants. I know it is hard, but you will all manage :piratetongueor4:.

However, I make that sound worse than it is (I have fun) because I should be back on tomorrow and throughout Christmas.

For some future sadness, the week after Christmas, you know, New Years, I am going to be gone that whole week too. So the pants are going to be MIA through the holidays a lot just like I am sure a lot of you will be too.

I have to admit I can't get myself to play anymore. I get on and am just very bored. I always find a different game that is more fun.

I don't really know where I stand with pirates now. I love spending time with you all, but it is just too boring!

I don't know, I might end up going afk for an extended period of time.

I'm gonna keep the game for another year, if for no other reason than my grandtot likes to play pirates with my Kelly.

Well, wasn't my intention to be afk for the past four days - but since returning from the south I have been quite ill and until today just sitting at a computer was too much.

Hoping that my ability to actually remain seated in an upright position for a few hours means whatever I have is beginning to pass and should return soon :)

Ok, giving advance notice on this one. Monday morning I am taking my laptop in for service. I don't know if I will be AFK two days, or two weeks, depends on what's wrong with it. I will not be able to be in game during this time. I will be checking in here on the forums. I'll keep you guys posted as I know more. Like I said though, not doing it till Monday.

ARG :mybadki6: So I took Iris in this morning with every intention of leaving her with the Geeks. Then they tell me, oop, you needed to bring the warranty info with you, and oh by the way it will take about 3 weeks, not 2. :degen: You have gotta be kidding me! :126: So my options are, wait 3 weeks for the Geeks to send it to HP anyway, send it to HP myself, or just not do anything. (It is after all only the CD drive, which I never use.) At this point, what I'd rather do thank you very much, is make the whole lot of em walk the plank!:ss_wtp-ani:
