After a guild meeting we decided to hold a spur of the moment Ship Race event. Needless to say, it was a big hit! And we do have some members that won! The goal was to sail around the back of Tortuga, to Perdida, and then around Raven's- and then to wave to me, Samantha Searatte, and Jack Stormhawk at the spanish isle. The first to do so was awarded winner! Here are the following winners of our second Ship Race Event: 1st. Captain Celtics 2nd. Isaiah Ropeswine 3rd. Roger Swordshot Congrats and great job to all others who participated in the event! :) And now for an Emerald Regiment Update (Boy, I have NOT done this for a long time. Firstly, CONGRATULATIONS to the following..: Samantha Searatte- Promotion to OIT! Mate, ever since you have joined us, you've been a big hit! With your great sense of humor, yet, wisdom, you became our first choice for our newest OIT's. Congratulations and good luck on the officer team! Eric Bluehawk- Promotion to OIT! Eric had been with us since the guild's beginning stages, and has since then proved himself worthy of being a good member; a great example for others, even through the toughest times. Congratulations! Jade- Promotion to OIT! Jade, is a long time founder of the game. She is very wise and loves to help other members out. She came to our guild unsure of whether she was going to stay or not; but soon changed her mind and decided to become a full member of Emerald Regiment. Congratulations, Jade!! Kat Mchayes - Promotion to OIT! Kat, ever since she was guilded, has been a super star, with leading invasions (especially during the Jolly Roger bowl,) keeping the invasions organized (a hard feat with 40 members online!) and has graced us with her wisdom and humor, and spectacular characters. Congratulations, Kat!! Lola - Promotion to OIT! Lola has been with us for quite a while now; she was one of Phishy's first recruits! She's proved to be quite a character, although quiet at times. I knew we made the right choice of a surprise promotion when Lola said, "what? what did I do wrong?" Congratulations, Lola!! Tori Winterqueen- Promotion to OIT! Man, she's been through a lot! However she kept her loyalty to us, even when we lost her twice from the resets! Miraculously we always found her when she was taken back by Disney! Tori is a long-time founder of the game and has proved herself a humorous, and loyal character-she decided to stay on the game with Emerald Regiment, instead of going back to the old game she used to play. She was very close to leaving the game due to Disney resetting her character twice! Congratulations, Tori!! Constance Seascarlett-Promotion to OIT! Constance found one of our members, Hector, interested in joining the guild. Due to her be being busy with real live occasions we weren't able to guild her for almost two weeks! We were glad she found us worth the wait, and since she has joined she has been a wonderful member, pulling off being a great character for others to follow. Congratulations! Kevin Ironbeard - Promotion to OIT! Kevin is new, but not new to many of the officers of Emerald Regiment. Blade took him under his wing for officer training, and we were glad to have Kevin join us after the past officers have had with him. Congratulations! Additionally, I would like to say awesome job to all of me fellow officers, OIT and GM crew on finding lost members(due to the roll back) and bringing new faces into the guild!! On another subject, I just want to say WOOT! I finally mastered cannon, stupid roll backs cannot stop me, they can only slow me down.
