I agree Basil, but there's not really anything we can do about people taking advantage of the rep given after level 30. I think, though, that once Disney fixes this BUG, they'll take all the rep earned after level 30 weapons so that being a level 50 is impossible until the second story quest comes out.

If I were Disney, I'd do that, because it's unfair for other pirates that couldn't take advantage of the BUG to get to fifty. Besides, if it's supposed to be impossible, using the flaw to your advantage is just silly. You're earning "fake" rep. Using this flaw isn't going to make the second story quest fun either, because you'll fly by it. What's the point in being able to rush through a quest when you'll just have to wait another year(or more) for the next one?

I think it should be up to you whether you want to get to lvl 50 by quests or weapon leveling. I, personally, like leveling weapons so I'm glad they made it so they still give rep.

Do you know they wanted it this way, or whether this is just a huge bug that's taking them some time to fix?

Unless Disney gives us proof that this isn't a bug, we can disclose this as a bug, because we couldn't get rep for mastered weapons before.

I never meant anything towards anyone using the feature of reps after mastering weapons, just agreed I dont believe it was intentional, and if it was, I dont think permanent. I see that POTCO hasnt answered any questions about it after having it reported numerous times.

Its of no matter... its good there is a way. Plunder hard pirates!

Looks like it was intentional. Would be nice if Disney could include all changes in the release notes.
