Now I think everyone who has met Chris here knows how he is; outgoing, smart, and he thinks he's funny. :laughks2: I kid, but we all know he's good at that too. After being in the guild for a little less than a year, we know that we can count on this pirate. Whether we're all dancing a jig on Tortuga, looting in Tormenta, or making fun of his horrible taste in clothes, we know that Chris has our backs.

Most of you have probably noticed that the past week has gone without a POTW poll. No, it isn't because I forgot - instead, I am dedicating it for a much more special purpose.

I have decided to dedicate this week, and next week, to two outstanding pirates who have left such a great impact on our guild. One of them has decided to join us fully, while another will be passing away from us as these next few days near. This symbolizes not only a tribute to these two, but as well as a final symbol of the dear friendship that has endured between them. Dog Firestack and Kate Gunhound!

What can I say? These two have proven that good things come in pairs. These two pirates came to us in the mindset of expanding their circle of friends, and we couldn't have been more lucky that they chose us. Dog, who is (and forever will be) a Veteran in Partners N Crime has stood up for the guild in it's darkest hours, and has passed his great wisdom and experience of the game to us countless times. And Kate, a long-time member of ours on her baby pirate, Sierra, has forever put a mark on our hearts through her compassionate desire to help any person that crosses her path, regardless of who they are.

But what makes these two really remarkable is the bond between them. It's a safe bet to say their friendship has undergone the tests of time, and tests that have been set our by others to push them beyond their limits. It's an outstanding sight to see that through it all, they both rose from the rubble victorious. It only goes to show how the bonds of friendship can withstand any trial.

Now, usually our guild budget for POTW awards is relatively low - but, I felt it necessary to dig in to my own salary (guess I'll have to cut out Del's beach house in Mexico... sigh..) and pull out enough to buy you two something to remind you of your friendship - friendship rings!

Norries Savviness!

Savvy is perhaps one of the most dedicated pirates to her guild than you could ever imagine. Even now, nearly four years after she first started PIC, she stills serves the guild to this day. And not only that, but she does it with pride, dignity, and with the quality of work that is not often matched by any other (well, outside of this guild, at least ;)) Her tireless strive to make sure the guild stays sensible and balanced, while still maintaining that unique charm that has brought us to where we are today, has made her an asset in this guild just as in PIC.

And not only that, but I, and all of us here in the guild, know Savvy as something else - a great friend. She has been there for us, to talk and mend us, no matter what the issue. She isn't just there, she's there to help, and I know that she's saved my hide plenty of times. So, Savvy, thank you for that.

Now, Savvy, we know how much you love bothering Crest, so why not reflect that in your gift? So, I present to you, Crest-Be-Mad! (In the form of an air horn, of course!)

William Goldwalker!

(Don't blame me, Crest gave me the idea.)

Will is the more sarcastic voice of the guild. He knows how to slip in his witty comments on the drop of a pin, and supplies us with his ever-fluent ability to make us want to realize.. well, how stupid we really are. And although his unhealthy obsession with sailing, snakes, and all that often gets the best of him, Will is always the calm, cool, and collected voice of sensibility in the guild. His voice and presence is always a good thing to be around whenever you need some advice, and his honesty and modesty in almost every situation let him be somebody's word that you can almost always trust will benefit you in the end. (Plus, without him, our Victory Shark Plus Dark Cobra Fleet wouldn't be nearly as strong ;))

So, Will, because you simply cannot WAIT to get yourself a Cerberus, I took the liberty of digging in to the guild bank and coming up with enough gold to get you.... a Kingfisher.

Stealth, you're one of the newer members around these parts, but even then have you already grown a part of our family. I speak for many of us that when I say you're one of the most friendly and INSANE!!! pirates that we have around the guild, and that really shows by how much we love being around you. You love this guild as much as we all love you - not only because you've become a good friend of ours over the years, but by how you went about that. You're so very modest and humble when it comes to hanging around others, but once we really got to know you, we saw this gem of a personality beneath it that has since shined very brightly in our guild. Stealthy, thank you for being who you are in our guild - you've made it all the more fun ;)

Every since the earlier days of PIC, Del has always proven himself to be a true Partner. His dedication to Partners has shown itself everyday ever since he first joined with wee little Delpadres. (Gosh, I feel old just looking at this pic.)

I think it's a no-brainer that if it weren't for your quick mind, dedication and bravery, the legacy wouldn't nearly be as great as it is now. You took the wheel with a firm grasp when no one was there, never let go and as a result took the guild farther than it has ever been before. You've always made yourself out to be nothing less than a gifted leader, quick mind, but most of all a wise, kind-hearted, and quite usually, crazy friend. You never fail to always be there for your friends when they need a hand, and you never hesitate to take a stand and fight for your mates, and yourself, when the time calls for it. Even though we've had our bumps in the road, I'm proud that I can still call you a GM, role model, and one of my best friends to this day. And I think I speak for everyone here when I say that we can call PNC a true home away from home, and that is thanks to you. My hat is off to you, Del, for you're a shining star in both guild and game.

Lady Nayana!

Having been in the guild for a while now, Lady is perhaps one of the more well-known members of our guild, as she has developed herself into one of PNC's most respected Officers. Lady just recently received her Officer tag around here, and that is a testament to how hard she works for the guild - in fact, as I type this, she is working on a new banner for our guild. From helping a fellow partner level in the trenches of Tormenta, to chiming in on important guild issues, and just down to palling around with other pirates over numerous marriages, divorces, and custody battles, Lady is one of the stars in our guild that shines brightly every time she comes in to action.

Now Lady, I know how running Llama Land (Where Llamas Roam Freely) can be a bit difficult for you, as those animals may at once time or another leave a few... droppings... which is why I reached in to my pocket to fetch you out, a pooper scooper!

Now as you may be able to tell from the image above, Chris has some very... unique qualities. Of course, we love him for each and every one of those, and he loves each of us in return, sometimes spamming his love in ridiculous ways. Truly, this heart loving Partner has certainly spread it; it wasn't often that everyone greeted each other with "HI!!!! I LOVE YOU!!! <3" We can all blame him for that. ;)

Let us not forget the more serious aspects of Mr. Ironhawk here, however. Time and time again, Chris has shown his dedication to Partners N Crime and the people in it. You can find him healing in Tormenta, standing around being crew rep, or just being someone to talk to when times are tough. From personal experience, I can say that had Chris not been there just to talk to, I would have lost crucial parts of my sanity, and I know there are others that feel the same.

Now Chris, I know life is about to get hectic for you, what with the 30 lb backpack and all. Here's something to keep you up and active when you miss too much sleep talking into the night with us (or to keep you up all night talking with us. Either one). Caffeinated brownies!

Even though Tim has only recently gone back to going fully active on his partner, he has always been a good friend of mine and the guild over the years. When I first knew him, he would stand at the sidelines and cheer our little guild on as we chugged up the mountain - but now that our little train has gone full-speed, he's joined us for the ride, and he's shown us that he's always been a partner at heart. Tim never stops trying to make sure the guild is comfortable, often spending his time running around and healing guildmates as they so much as need help. He always takes initiative in the guild to make sure all of our partners are comfortable, and this week he deserves to be in the spotlight after all the work he has done. Alice has been a member of Partners N Crime for about a year now, and in that time, has proved herself to be one of our most fun and most dependable pirates. She’s always had a very strong presence in the guild. When she joined, we knew immediately that she would fit right in with this band of lunatics, and has proven to only add to it. If it’s looting for fantastic clothes in Tormenta, bragging about her Admiral hat from SVS, or sailing about antagonizing bounty hunters, Alice is always there. Now, Alice is a respected officer in the guild. When we need something done, she gets it done. We have had some great times with her. Alice has proven his loyalty to the guild time and time again.
