welcome Jacob and Molly, I am happy to see the guild grow in size but more so in quality.

One other thing, I am sorry to my guildmates that i have been offline for the last 4 days, I work long hours for 3 and 4 day stretches, but I will be back on soon and I would like to start the ball rolling for the PvP Spania Fleet challenge, I hope to arrange some Try-outs and Hopefully organize the fleet by the top Captains and Gunners, and also those who are talented with repairing,. This all still must be approved by Carlos. If participation is strong and we can get up and running, I will personally pay Gold to the Fleet captains and thier chosen officers per battle, and Victories. I also plan on Opening a thread on the forums for a Weekly Guild Challenge, we will arrange times and hopefully this will ease the Drudgery of completing pvp quests. All who are interested in participating organizing and Hosting please contact me via this forum or live in game if you see me on. Carlos if you would like to pm me on this with your approval that would be great, or if you wanna just post here on this forum, I will be checking this tomorrow morning after work. Lets show the Carribean What Spania Can do and why we are the Elite. Huzzah

Ahoy Davy, I see you are not on, but at least you are on here hehe..... Well lets see, I don't really know what is this all about so would have to see the details, and what is involved, anyways, keep up the postings :dancetl6:.

In other news, we have passed the 100 mark of posts, and we have passed the 25 members mark, so I think so far so good... but that doesn't mean we don't need to keep up the good work :piratear:. Also, we need 400 more posts :piratesing: , we also will be doing more events too, and some surprises coming up. Keep up the good work :piratewheelgo2: and keep sailing these salty waters :piratetongueor4:

We will be posting more screenshots of past events, as well as taking new ones - we have quite a few so we have enough content for quite a while

I have been in a few guilds in my days as pirate. Jack Treasurehound is my original pirate that I started back in 2008, and he is my main pirate now, but I have others at various levels. The most important thing in a guild, in my opinion, is community and actually being able to play with others who can be considered freindly, while not all guild members are friends. Spania has multiple people on at most hours of operation. I find this to be comforting and adds to the feeling of community. Other guilds I have been in recently and in the past had just as many if not more members, but they don't all play. Last night, for example, there were 28 members on and I met some really cool and interesting folks. Billy, Meg, Davy, Tucker, Joan, Charlotte, etc. These people are just a few of the creative, imaginitive, and supportive members of Spania. I should be so lucky to have what amounts to a family in the real world. We should all be so lucky.

I will make it to one eventually lol. Seriously though its very compforting and welcoming to hop online and get like a wave of HI Capt! or good evening Darkblade! then sometimes I get a port request and jump right into the game with great friends and mates of Spania. its a very awesome feeling

I know how you feel I have missed a few myself...lol.

Usually I am a late night player and I dont get to play that much during the day on the weekends. Its amazing how much goes on during the weekends... not that things dont go on in the evening and late night during the week because they certainly do. The weekends are incredibly busy with things for everyone. There are large groups of Spania pirates at all sections of the game giving players the option of making every activity a group activity with friends if they wish or to go off on there own if that is there wish.

The invasions were especially impressive because I have never really seen it where even the keg runners could not make it to the beach in most cases. Those screen shots show an impressive line up.

Ahoy Jack and I agree it is nice to come online at any time day or night and there is always someone online to greet you with a friendly hello and offer to help with anything you need. This is one of the reasons why Spania is so great!

hehe I remember my first invasion with Spania... I was like really? WE are ALL gonna do this? hollllly... We do have an impressive attendance on them invasions lol. man... I wish I could play this weekend but im going out of town hehe.

Impressive invasion attendance indeed! Usually spaning 2 and up to 3 crews.

It is certainly nice to have guild groups around all corners of the map, at Darkhart, Tormenta, Sailing, or even doing PVP. There is always something to do and I enjoy spending time with the guild.

As I wanted to say, it has been about a year i am in spania now and i have NEVER had such a great time with any guild on pirates of the caribbean online. I would say all of the spaniards are helpful, cheerful, and show a great sense of humor!

These guild vs guild pvp challenge pioneers are to be applauded as they represent the Backbone of the first Spania Pvp Fleet.
I should also mention that some of those listed have offered to supply Ships and i also am willing to pay for a ship if a Captain is willing to commit to Represent Spania proudly in this Event.

Please post ideas and support, We also need to agree on a practice time. once we workout the kinks , I will issue a weekly challenge to other guilds on the Forums.

As for the Raven's Cove enemies, good question. The "Rage Ghosts" can go up to lv52, so it is certainly possible. I will ask a friend about it.

Hello, mates! Spania and non-Spania members! My name is Angel Goldbain, and I have been a proud member of this guild for years past and years to come. I would like to tell you all the story of how I went from an unsure, unsteady POTCO member to a happy and loved one. I believe it was on the Abassa docks of Tortuga when I first met Treasurer, a great Spania officer and currently one of my greatest friends on the game now. I had been stumbling around with my guilds, and had then been in no guild. Treasurer told me all about Spania and I realized that I might have found a guild I would be happy with. Upon request, despite my low level on Angel (it was my other player, Rose Blueflint, who had met Treasurer,) I joined the guild, and the open ATMs and warm welcomes I received were unexplainable. I felt loved and welcome to be with such an active, stable, organized, polite, helping, and especially makes-me-feel-good group of people. I've learned so much from Spania since my arrival: helping one another is the key to success, getting respect feels just as good as being respectful, and that it isn't the massive size of the, but the massive size of love and consideration the Spania guild has to offer. I recommend joining this guild on a multitude of reasons. Thank you, Treasurer and Spania, for taking me under your wing and helping me to grow into a strong, wonderful pirate that is surrounded by exactly the type if people she needs. Hope to see you guys as a future Spania guildie!

sure, you can choose , you can choose to captain your own ship, but i think that the each vessel needs great gunners too, so you can be versatile.

Sorry I couldn't be there to share in all the fun and excitement. Its always such sweet sorrow ... the sweet taste of a well earned victory after spending many hours at the POTCO story quest and the ability to move on sharpening those skills but at the same time the sorrow of not having any really long quests to do...lol hopefully that will change soon.

I also want to say that its great to see Spania jump in on the posts as soon as the boards came back up... its great to see such enthusiasm and to know out posts are getting read.

Apparently Ravens Cove made it to live....

I logged on and I have nothing..No clothes, No weapons, No TP Etc.... lol


I have logged several times and it does not seem to fix it. I also heard doing shift +f2 helps but, that seems to not work for me either.

I guess this will soon be fixed it is just having the patience to wait it out and, well, I don't have much of that... I want to play!!! LOL

Its just my luck that it would go live when my potions were just on the edge of mastering... I need like two more hours or so to level them. I was really hoping to get it done before it went live ... lol

Well, everything is working fine now, I think. Because I did get all my stuff back and it shows my noto etc. So.. I think it would be safe to get on as of right now.

Even with lost inventory, it is safe to log in. Once the account bugs are worked through you will get them back. It appears the update has stabilized.

I was instructed to give a testimonial Humm... I do not think I have done anything someone has not done before and better. So I will try to give a few facts I hope it will not put you to sleep you might miss an important battle. I have played my Pirates on line since I guess about the middle of 2008. However, I have not played any of my pirates in the past 18 months. I guess it was right after I Mastered Joan and most of her weapons the changed the pirate LV's were changed to LV 50 that I had quit playing. I kept the account open because I always knew I would return and just could not let all the hard work I had put into them go. I have only been in two Guilds in all that time on Pirates I left for my own reasons. I stand on the belief that ( all ) rules and codes of conduct should be followed by all members and leaders alike. The rules are in place for very good reasons to maintain control, when rules are not followed and maintained it causes upheaval and chaos.
The time that I was away from pirates I found another "GAME" addiction :) Dragon Age
I loved loved loved also have the extension game which I just happen on to a cheat by accident got RICH RICH enough to buy all the armor and weapons had millions left.

Now, I have returned to pirates once again I feel Spania has shown me so far it is far and above all the others. So all I can say is "Guilds what other Guilds"? I can only see Spania
and hope I can add something to the unit of great people in the guild now. Thank you for having me and I will try to help in anyway possible.

If I could do anything I would use my Doll's Healing to cure all the real worlds illnesses that would be a testimonial I could be proud of .

some pirates today were losing weapons, ships, ect after being dc. it seens that if you log out and back in ( it may take a few trys ) you get everything back. i was on for a few hours and had no proublems at all. ( nock on wood ) i'm sorry to say, however, i have been lazy in the past and now i have to master potions and fishing to complest the new quests. my bad, never thought that stuff was important........sheep

Love that Spania is making POF their home away from home, but you all need a re-cap on the posting rules.

RULES

Please, the extra long quotes and double and triple posting have to stop. Give yourselves some time for a refresher course and check out the above link.

Some members are new and these are like their first posts. We are taking the appropriate steps to get them assimilated, but at the same time, please give them extra consideration as some of them are not savvy on these things. But we'll keep them informed about the rules, that does not mean we have to go slow; right? We would like to make this process as compliant of rules as possible and take some time, but at the same time we want to make sure we are doing things the right way, and not for it to take unnecessary prolong time. Some members have had a hard time with the moderation process, and they don't have chance to edit their posts after they have posted. Some times their post take a day or so to be shown, but if we see members doing posts that violate the rules, we'll let them know to change it, if they constantly do it with bad intentions , please let me know and we'll talk to them or take the necessary steps.

Also please note that we look around the forums, and we assume that if other posts of other people are fine (and compliant), then we assume our is fine also (for the most part). So far I think the moderation has been minimal as far as the thread goes, but please also understand that it can't be like 100% moderation proof. So a little mod work is always good.. that also helps us to keep us on our toes.

Everyone goes through the same process, no one gets special treatment, and sometimes that takes some getting used to. Just stick by the Forum Policies, and all should be fine ;)

JK... :piratetongueor4: your fine....... we will try to better follow the rules in regards to the long quotes, and if you notice that we have very minimal "double posts", most of the time would be a member who's account is in moderation and they can't edit it or delete it on time, let me know if there is anything else

I want to clarify that no one is asking for "special treatment", that sounds wrong - and we do not endorse "Special treatment" unless everyone else is treated the same. I believe that is why we are doing this in the first place, and is one of our guild principles, and if we found the forum was focus toward favoritism we would not be here. In the guild we are same, but we want to also accommodate our members due to the circumstance and limitations, which is a common sense thing to do, and is as basic as it gets, it is also part of our guild organization, and it is the very least they can expect from the guild leadership.
