Next, during the party, I was able to see something that I thought was impossible. Sam Bladebeard, our Co-guildmaster, changed his outfit from Barbossa! We had begun calling him Hector! Here is what he looked like for about 5 minutes before going back to Barbossa... he blinked! :O

And then of course, we had to go and try to kill Mr. Smasho down in the Cave of Lost Souls. It took us a while, but we were successful, with Billy Fireskull (AKA The Monster) facing him head on with his Sharkfang Blade, a cursed broadsword! Smasho was no match for us!

Thanks Kafufle. I'm glad to see you're really enjoying us. :) Now, I have a few announcements.

Since our normal meeting date for this month would fall on Christmas, I am going to change it to Saturday, January 8th. That is the date that I will announce the winners for our awards, we can plan for January AND February, and whatever else needs to be done. Also, chances are me and my Co-guildmasters will be making some promotions too. So prepare to see a few more officers and senior officers out there! So make sure to put that on your calendars.

Next, I will actually be leaving to go skiing for the next few days, and I will be back on Wednesday. I'm not sure yet if I will be bringing my laptop, so if I am not online at all, that would be the reason. Even if I do bring it, my play time will be quite limited, so don't expect to see me much until Wednesday starting tomorrow.

Sam/Sammy/Spammy/Hector/Co-Guildmaster: Obviously, Billy will be coming with me, so he will be about as active as me, which again, isn't much. Since I will only be gone a few days, I don't think it will be necessary to transfer leadership to you, temporarily. Instead, I just want you to be watching over the guild, doing some of that recruiting you do so well, and, most importantly, make sure none of our Sorcerors steal my rum!

Wow guys, I was doing some thinking today... about all that our guild has been through. Time for another short speech to bore you all half to death.

A year and a half ago, Billy and I sat inside Pugpratt's Tailoring on Cuba. July 31, 2009. I had recently left a guild that I had made before, one that I erm... didn't do very well at leading. Thats another story though! After staying in another guild for a few weeks, I decided to try again. Billy and I left it, and made another one, in the setting I described above. We both knew that we would be starting from scratch again; trying to build a fortress out of dirt. At first we had confidence. We knew that it wouldn't be easy, but we persisted. It seemed to only grow harder as time went on. There were times when we came close to giving up, even. But something kept us from doing that. Something inside me that kept me from doing that. Our guild slowly grew in size, notoriety, and most importantly, friendship. Perhaps we weren't at the top of the leaderboards, or the most well known guild on Abassa, but that didn't matter, and it took me a while to realize that. But now I know that there is nothing wrong with not being the top guild. I mean, that stuff is nice to have, the popularity and fame, but it isn't what counts. Its the people in it. The people that make it up. You.

This year is beginning to come to a close, and a new one will start up. A new one to plan out, build the guild, and our friendships. Now mates, I want to say one last thing to you.

Thank you. For being the best guild I could ask for. Now lets look back at this wonderful year we had, and look forward to a brand new one, full of new adventures, obstacles, and more!

He tells me that I need to pay one whole barrel. Thats a lot for us folks ain't it?! I tell him thats too much, and to talk to my financial advisor... Guys, I'm making a last minute addition to our meeting on Sunday (4pm Eastern). About how long would your get together be? I mean, not the details and all, but our meeting is going to end up being quite long. Probably somewhere around an hour or more. The beginning probably won't be all that important, just the usual stuff. Awards and promotions come last, so maybe you would be able to make that. The thing is, I don't want to move it earlier since it is a Sunday, and some people have Church or whatever else. The time I have is cutting it a bit close either way... and I don't want it to be later because people on the East Coast may go out to dinner... what time are you free tomorrow? If it is just an hour or so later, I may be able to change it, but I don't want to do anything significant...

I don't really know. Getting together around 11'ish (Mt. time) and it will be at least a couple hours, so, most likely, I will be out.
