Igor says Igor will try a Friday night event to warm up for the weekend mates. Igor will be on Fragilles server Port Royal Dock at 9pm est !!! Igor say this Saturday and Sunday Igor will also be holding public Cannon Defense Runs !!! Igor will post times Friday for Saturday and Sunday. Igor say fair winds and good luck mates!!!

We got to around wave 35 then my computer decided that POTCO had some error in it and that it would be best to close it in the middle of the game without my permission. Thanks computer!

Igor hope everyone is sending crash reports as this is the only way Disney will fix these problems. Igor ask if everyone who is using Windows 7 is running POTC in compatibility mode - Windows XP service pack 2, Igor uses this setting for Vista too. Igor say POTC is still set to run with Windows XP so this may help some of your crashing. Igor has also found that running in Graphics option Directx9 during CD also crashes less. Igor however switches back to Open GL when regularly playing POTC.

Igor would like to do CD runs today Saturday November the 6th. Igor will be online starting at 6pm est through to 2am est. Igor will be stationed by the Port Royal Dock on the Fragilles server. Igor and the Honorable Mates will be there if you do not see Igor plz ask an Honorable Mate were to find him or a on going CD group!!

i keep missing them the best thing i got is a old ram so i desperately need a new one

CD Designated Server?
 

Might it work for those of us who like to play CD agree that one server will be designated as THE higher level, serious CD server? It's frustrating to have pirates back out halfway through a wave and also all the other frustrations of playing with others who are not motivated to find a haunted cannon ram.

Just a thought as I play random times during the day.

Hope there is another CD raid this Saturday!

Igor say this is great idea mate. Igor tends to play public Cannon Defense matches and training runs of Fragilles as this is Igor's home server. Igor say we do have some secret meeting areas.....Igor look left.....Igor look right.... Igor whisper we keep these kind of quiet as it is hard to be alone some times. Igor say plz pm Igor to find a serious CD group. Igor is glad to set you up mate!!

Igor say sorry mates Igor has been having some connection issues with e-mail and POTC!!!! Igor is currently working on fixing his issues. Igor will keep you all posted mates!!

Good point, I didn't really pay much attention to the double gold factor, I just maxed my gold two days ago.

I'm seriously so sorry guys, I had a total blank and missed it...

Ack, Igor, I would love to do some CD now, but my laptop has been being really bad lately. Crashing after half an hour to an hour of playing if its plugged in. Maybe after two hours if It isn't plugged in, and usually then the battery just dies. So until I get my computer fixed I think I'm going to have to pass on CD for now, but my soul shoots with ye!

Good game guys! We got to around wave 37 and got some pretty good rams.

Igor say nice show mates!!! Igor say many people attened this weekend and many more new pirates were able to get famed rams and earn extra gold. 7 est? which day? My cannon is only level 1 on test, with nothing spent on quick load, so I think I'll just stick to live servers.

It was a blast to man a cannon atop the walls of the fort! Sorry I am not that great at it atm.

We got to wave 56 and I got the following rams:
2 Marauder (rare)
1 Wool (famed)
1 Bloodhound(famed)

lol I suggest you dont take a screenie until you finish the game, lots of ppl have crashed while taking screenies in CD.

Igor!! I know I am hijacking your thread but I was so excited!! Tonight, Liz from my guild wanted to cd, I started at level 4, and I survived to lvl 96, with two dc, but went straight back in each time....all those times with you really helped me a lot , so thanks Igor.

Oh, I got the phantom, the haunted(twice), and rev rams(two revs). If Eric Ironskull hadn't joined us when we lost a couple of our team, we wouldn't have survived. Thanks Eric!! :dancetl6: If you need me to help sometime or be a backup, let me know..can't promise I will do that well, but I will try.

Thanks Molly, that was a blast. Been a while since I've gotten that high. I did not get any new rams, but it seemed the first rev I got came earlier than in the past. Maybe in the 50s. We got so close to getting through the last wave.

Me and a officer are mine are interested in having a CD group with you Igor. I have tried for Rev many times, but no luck. Ive made it to the relm of wave 50 a few times, only to come out with Phantom and Marauder. If you could get back to me would be awesome. I hear your the best around :)

So this is where you discuss wanting to make and join Cannon Defense sessions? Awesome. I want new Cannon Rams. Sailing and Fishing for them is annoying and I've never had good results... With Cannon Defense, at least you know for the most part you'll recieve nothing but Rams, even if they aren't what you were looking for...
With that being said, the moment somebody mentions wanting to get another Cannon Defense game going again, you can consider me available for it...

CD meeting places
 

I too am interested in getting a better ram but find it hard to match up with people who can help me with CD. Just an idea but would it be simpler to specify a day or days of the week, a time and island to meet to play CD? e.g. Fridays and Saturdays, 5PM PST, Fragilles Server,Port Royal.
