Nice improvements, good screen shots too...still dont understand the code/clothes thing. Does it mean if you see a clothe in the shop but u dont have the money, later when u arent at the shop..u can just put in a code and buy it without being in a shop? I assume thats it, idk.

Wasnt there an article earlier on how Disney was going to be promotional items at its parks / stores (and so on) and there is where you would get the codes for additional items in Pirates? Or did I just dream that up somewhere (I went searching last night for this until a serios RL issue came up and I had to stop - but I though this is where the Codes would come from...)
As it is - it could be used as a reward system like events just held :) |
Could the codes be off D items purchased in RL to unlock items in game just like on Carsonline.

Just my opinion on the ETA here. We shouldn't be impatient on the live release. Its a big update that needs more time to be worked on.

I popped in for about 10 minutes after the update today, about half the stuff was fixed. With no longer the mac players script up, I assume that was one fix.
Fixed: Ammo shop and sign now next to June. Tracking is now working it appears. Old warehouse with sign, and now exits properly. Tree growth after exiting jewelry shop now looks fixed. Some more signs now in place. Barber shop exits properly. Not fixed: Tattoo, and jewelry, can't get to my items. Several shops with black out furniture. A new wall glitch. Graphics option, and also a dx10 for vista users. Sailing, and screen cuts ? machine specific to others. Codes no meaning yet. Players button no meaning yet. Codes are under clothes, jewelry, and tattoo's what the purpose for these are unknown. I am sticking with them as the new level 40 bordom reducer, putting endless random numbers there and see if anything comes up, haha. C next to clothes is the button for choosing color. I wouldn't expect a release until at least we all could get to our items in tattoo's and jewelry, but who knows. Sailing and such things others couldn't do I have no idea, may be vista users related. |

Another update.
Map of PR shows up in compass. Chat no longer auto sends after 50 characters,,,thank you. Breaks: Quest tracker. Ship tracking in compass No goto button to guild members. Crewing having issues, some not showing up in crew. Just a few things with a ongoing process, as well as previous issues. |

That is downright cool! Please go ahead and add some - I've no monopoly on that guide. And actually, it was about sailing, so it probably isn't entirely relevant. I'm curious what it looks like at different zoom levels, though.

I got Test working by reinstalling it: I had to switch the drive regular POTCO was on. Anyway, I think I approve of the change. But now, with POTCO on D, everything when I'm walking on open land is whitened down. The ground is blank white, and the walls are various forms of peach and other light colors--the insides of buildings and the seas are fine though.
Anyone know how to solve those problems? |

As usual Salty - I expect them to take our issues, do two one or two sets of fixes, we'll send in more but they will release it anyway LOL :D

Read back a few pages, June was located. She's nowhere near where the "beam" says she is, in an unmarked appt on the beach. Still sending in reports on her.

After a server crashing a few things straighten out, like goto others and tracking.
Then another update today brought in a few new issues. First a new map under compass was added to show the town area. Attachment 1334 Many issues not changing while some are apparently just not transferring over such as guild status in the new pop-up windows of characters like below. Attachment 1335 Edit: I do wonder a bit on the map myself, I assume this will just be the case for the new PR. With tracking arrows I don't really see the point. These updates are causing more and more issues each time, while not seeing those be dealt with yet. Boat tracking is off with the new compass set up. A hour or so everyone in guild continually got booted out every 5 minutes or so, slowly got better. |
I don't know about you Poison, but I personally don't like the map. I think it takes away from the fun. Come on, let folks explore a little!
I've reported the new "character info card" a few times already for not showing with the right guild info. Everyone is showing up as "Pirate Guild so-in-so" Thanks for the screenies! |

these things are cool mim in test also but we need new story quests and new noto caps!!!!!! but pr and everything LOOKS AWESOME!

The map looks really neat. Very interesting that it is such a small portion of the island. I love how it shows the crew-bonus-radius circle. I hope they can generate the maps for all the islands, fairly easily. (Don't most games have map features similar to this?)
