I was playing this game on my iTouch yesterday and it's quite fun, but hard to earn money

I have a War sloop, Dardanellas cannon, and Neptune firgure head. 4000 gold! I have defeated the giant octopus and it only gave me like 80 gold. If anyone know how to get a higher ship how? I been sailing for ever? Do u find it sailing to Tortuga , Padres of port royal or is it hunting regulary? I tell Ya I want the Treasure!:12_1_138:

Just got to keep exploring/sailing and sinking ships matey....

I recommend sailing around Padres, in theory.. bigger ships, bigger rewards.
I love finding the War Frigate hull again, I always accept it, replaces my damaged hull with a new one, and I get full reimbursment for my damaged one :)

I just started playing COTD like 2 days ago and it is pretty cool! I have 2 music sheets so far, and I have some treasures. I got a pretty good amount of gold. I have a War Sloop, Neptune Figurehead, and Dardanellas Cannons. Looking to get a War Frigate... and if there is a Royal Galleon, I would rather have that. :D

I still need 4 treasures for the lvl43 pirate, but I transfer the ones I already have to my second best pirate. My lvl43 pirate has all the sheet music I believe. I have a War Frigate hull, Dardanelles cannons, and a Neptune figurehead. I just found the War Frigate from a Warlord from Padres Del Fuego.

Can I still play cannons of the deep - just on my pc? The game looks awesome, I want to play it so bad!

Does anyone know where to find the sheet music for Prepare to Cast Off? I have all sheet music but that.

Also if you just want to mindlessly gather gold without fighting, just sail island to island. Don't log out. Stay in game and hunt enemies. Most of the time you won't even have to attack a ship. You get anywhere from 6-20 gold a ship. Parlay will get you a little less per ship (assuming you insist the scurvy dog bow before you). Sometimes around Padres you can get 12- 20 a ship letting the crew handle the enemy.

I use the island to island sailing when I get tired of entering angles.

can you get music and hulls and stuff by letting the crew handle it?

I never did back when I was playing it...

Does anybody know the correct angles of fire to sink the ships. I heard their was a thread but I can't find it.

Long Range = 45
Medium = 30
Short = 15

Now...Sometimes a Long Range shot requires 15 and a short requires a 45. It is fairly random in that respect. Just remember to always start with 30. That way, if you miss, it will say if you are long or short and you are guaranteed a hit on your next shot.
