Well I use GIMP as well, but thats not what we are trying to figure out here ;)

I think we all on the same page that the avatar you are using is not animating, its gotta be something on upload, is it exceeding the kb allowed? is it too large?

I believe you got my PM for how to upload images to tinypic, try uploading it, and then copying the IMG code and pasting it here.

GIMP is a good graphic software but I really have no clue how people create the moving avatars so I just stick to asking Jack_I or Sven Niscade lol, or picking one from the site gallery.
