We're going to a place where a local Target is, I might be able to get one there. :D
It's odd how some Best Buys sell the cards and some don't... XD
And it's odder how they sell just about every gamecard at Wallie World BUT POTCO. XD

yeah i've been having the same problem. i went to my local Target today and they said they discontinued it. i searched the website of CVS, Rite Aid and Best Buy and no one had it. so i e-mailed Pirates Online telling them that and they got back to me saying:

"We continue to supply Game Cards to CVS, Rite Aid, and Target. You may wish to check local stores by calling ahead."

good luck to the both of us, eh mate? :]]

Here's what I discovered:
I went to two places with both a Best Buy and a Target.
I went and searched throughout both Target and Best Buy in both places.
Both times I discovered that Target does not have the cards, and Best Buy does.
Maybe it's different where everyone else lives, but here things took on a whole new level of irony. (But I am glad I got my two game cards. :D)

Are these card available online at those selected stores?

I know rite-aid and wal greens sells them.the toontown cards also work for POTCO.

There are two Target stores local to me. They both used to carry the POTCO cards, as well as ToonTown.

Neither Target has POTCO cards any longer, and the pile of ToonTown cards is almost gone, obviously not being restocked. It could just be that Target is not the best at keeping things in stock, and just opts to buy whats latest and greatest when something runs out.

I have found them at CVS, but only the 9.95/month cards, never the cost effective 3 months for 24.95 version. Best buy still has them in thier online catalog so im sure they continue to carry them, however their being in stock is different question altogether.

Now.. I never knew the toontown cards worked for potco, thats interesting, but does make sense.

so I have compiled some easy ways for people to pay for subscriptions

- there's a link to Gift Subscriptions on the left side of the PiratesOnline.com website. If you go there, you can by a 1 month one-time subscription. It gives you a code but if you redeem it yourself then viola ... no monthly bills, just pay as you go! (great if you don't want that monthly bill)

- Game Cards - i think they are only in CVS but call before going cuz not all have them.

Are you sure they work? Like, did you try it for yourself? It's not that I don't trust you, it's just that I want to be sure before taking a trip to Target.

Pre-Paid visa cards are the way to go. Considering Disney makes you keep paying until you cancel, just get a card about 25 bucks and you get two months out of it! Trust me mate, I can't find the regular game cards ANYWHERE!!!

Yeah my Best Buy and Target no longer sell them, the only store that carries them in my area is CVS - but like others suggested - call before making the trip out so it won't be waste.

SamanthaLockkidd 03-02-2010 05:35 AM

There used to be several stores selling them but now all I know of is CVS.There's a list on the official Pirates site.

yes - toontown cards also work for pirates. I have tried and it's true.
