No company will bother having an individual under the age of 18 'signing' anything, it wouldnt be legally binding. They might have a parent/guardian sign something, but keeping a 12 yr old 'quiet' is well.. im sure they know better. The participants may not even be allowed to ask questions. Im sure Disney has a list of questions they would like to hear these kids opinions on. I would be surprised if they asked the kids outright what they wanted to see in the game for example. Especially from such a small sampling of individuals. They may film it though and use it in promotional films. Probably give a bunch of cool stuff to for participating.

Your right about not having to sign anything but sorry your wrong regarding the questions, they were allowed not only to ask questions but to also give them written questions and comments. They also DID ask outright what the kids liked and didn't like and what they would like to see in the future... please see my new post regarding this focus group. His date was changed to today so I am just now getting home to post about it.
