Just a note ran into a speed hack last night in SvS and with update the persons name no longer comes up with firing the broadsides-makes it harder to report them

it still does, but you have to get close enough to the ship

One of my friends did it. I KNOW I was not lagging because he was spinning around and was at like end of the ocean. wasnt the fastest, but it was obvious speeding. And idk how he did it.

Aaron McEagle 12-12-2009 02:30 AM

Third party is how you do it.

P.S. Noticed there is also a lag feature some of the speed people also use

hacking isn't the only way to go that fast if you set the time back with vista while in game you go super fast I don't know why though but it needs to be fixed

Disclaimer
please take note that I haven't done this meself i've only viewed it off of youtube

Angel Seafish 12-12-2009 05:21 PM

Well the thing was the guy wasn't speeding anywhere else. And he did it so fast. Like just got on his ship and sped off.

Speaking of pirates above lvl 50, I did see someone that had a lvl 52. He didn't reply to me when I ask about him being above 50.

This speed glitch, is it something in disney's programming that allows it or is this something that someone hacked?

Aaron McEagle 12-13-2009 04:31 PM

Speed glitch is a third party program that is illegal.
They download it.

(Being over level 50 is just a bug. They level off of invasions and treasures.):zu02gw:

Yesterday at an invasion saw someone who used speed glitch. They were shooting like fifty bullets a second, it was like watching an ak47 being fired. There cutlass moves were going light speed. At first I thought it was just some glitch he learned, but then I asked him if it was speed glitch and he said yep. Yet we still lost to Jolly Roger. :(

The time speed glitch was fixed as far as I know... it no longer works without a 3rd party program.

And still lost!?!?!? Wow!

As I said on me first post, I saw one using the tri-barrel pistol like a machine gun, you could easily take Jolly Roger by yourself..

and he did it openly during an invasion?, another Wow!!!

Tom Sharkwash 12-13-2009 08:16 PM

He was using his staff and eventually ran out of voodoo. If he had used his gun we would probably have won. I was thinking that he would get banned, but not sure.

Angel Seafish 12-14-2009 01:32 AM

MACHINE GUNS!!!! - boom boom boom boom boom- Dang and lost. He could have just blasted the smithereens out of jolly with just using blast. Then when voodoo recharges, use the skills and repeat.
