Wrong mate. Thats how Runescape looked like very long ago. Now it has a kind of a fog thing like pirates, and HD looks alot better. But Pirates' graphics and gameplay are still much better

Um, there was no release notes or updates for the Padres invasion. Nonetheless apart from ships at a distance High Graphics rocks on POTCO.

Doesnt say but for me i was waiting 2 minutes on a teleport.
Now waiting 10 seconds. I think they worked on it but its me.
I dont have proof except for the time.

Since the update the low graphics make the game so crappy I refuse to use it any more. I've been using medium graphics - which seem to give me the same quality as low graphics before the update.
My biggest complaint is the lag issues. I could run pirates on high graphics before and not get the lag I am experiencing now. The server does not even have to be ideal any more. Get 3 or 4 people in the same area and my pirate slows down to a snail's pace - even healing is so slow I can't keep me mates alive.

Nothing's different on my end - so it has to be something they changed in the game.

Not as computer savvy as many of you. But, I did read in Game News that memory leaks have been fixed. Can't recall at this time whether it was test or open or both though....

I played today 12/21/09 and nothing is better as far as I can tell. I think for the first time ever, I logged off after apologizing to my guild mates - just because the lag made the game intolerable.

I sent in a feed back form AND a bug report complaining about this.

The new updates are terrible, i have a high quality graphics card for my computer and the game lags a lot. Disney needs to fix all the bugs in this game ASAP or POTCO will end. I like this game but will not play it if it lags so much, the pirates of the caribbean franchise is great and a online game for it has great potential, but if it is full of bugs it is just a shame. We all need to tell disney to fix this game before it is too late, many of my friends are not playing the game anymore becuase of this! Why have u made a game that lags so much Disney?!

It apprears we all need to report this to D.But why would they change it if they already make the desicion?The only way to fix this is get enough,by far,to tell D this is a huge problem.This update has also had some of the greatest number of bugs in a very long time.We all need to tell D that we are being very frank about this,and also convince them that the complaining people aren't a bunch of an allied tween gang,they don't even know who is playing sometimes....The downgrading of animation is going to KILL this game if it continues.Edit:So its going better on test Aaron?I'll have to wait and see then,I just want to see decent quallity control.

i agree dockwrecker, we all need to tell disney that we do not like the new updates and they need to fix it.

The graphics all look the same on my computer, which is 2 years old. I have medium graphics on and they look exactly the same. Same with the fog. I don't see a difference. But, then again, I didn't see a difference in graphics after an update in another game I played that had good graphics then people said they got worse after the update.

Well a while ago a could play on high graphics without any kind of lag at all. Now i can barley play on low....

Each load screen takes like 5 minutes and every once in a while a get these big lag freeze ups that last for 2-3 minutes.

Did i mention that invasions are just a giant lag party? I say i probably get 5 fps there... And this doesn't happen with any other game.

Bumping up the thread simply because... it's fixed. For some weird reason, by luck, or because the developers saw this thread, the missing texture on padres is back on.



Before it looked great, then with the island changes the texture turned "chalky" and it was horrible looking. Now at sea it looks great again, along with some of the other islands.

I'm glad they fixed this, because sailing at sea looks a bit more beautiful again.
