They should add a plank because whenever i'm privateering on one of my ships someone comes in and tells me to get off the wheel and soon we sink and whenever we stop for repairs someone takes the wheel.

Would be great, but also could cause problems... There would be these very smart people with very smart ideas who would think that once they get a crew to help them get their cargo full, they boot you off their ship and you are left on a beach with nothing. :mybadki6:

They do have this feature for privateering-pull up the offending parties trading card click the moderate button on the lower left side and click the boot that comes up and he is swimming with the fishes.

As far as treasure you get a better haul if you land with the crew. You may know this but thought I would make sure

I agree that a plank should be added as well. But until that time, if you are tired of putting up with these actions, don't open your ship to public. When you do, you are asking for this type of trouble, so except it. It's part of going public. Know your crew members and this should not happen.

I have been putting this in the survey you get on occasion when logging out for nearly a year now. It sure would be nice. Could it be abused sure, but there are so many other ships on the sea so to speak!!

Back in the day, only option you had was hitting a wild island then taking off again... that way only your Crew could come back.

Speaking of SvS - why don't we have a regular repair function in the game?

Shipwrights are still helpful since you can get fixed INSTANTLY as opposed to waiting, but when you have a shipful of goodies and the baddies are between you and cashing out... it would be nice to be able to patch up before making a run home.

ok people who made potco i have a idea about planks well this is a suggestion first you add a plank to all ships even if you are basic please well i am unlimited but think about the basic ok add the plank then you press the button boot and it will ask anybody onboard if they wanna see the cutscene then there will be a cutsene of a pirate falling off its like what ever ship you are on you dare the guy to fall and then he is off if you would like another suggestion ask me

This is another one of those real old ideas, that is a good idea so it continues to resurface.
They have given us since the early days better means of controlling our crew though instead.
(Used to be you could click on any person on a ship, and TP aboard without their permission, and wreak havoc!)

I do think they should put the feature in, however those walking the plank (being 'booted' from the ship), should receive their fair share of whatever plunder has been gathered while they were aboard, otherwise some wisecracker nefarious captains could start booting all their crew to keep their plunder hauls for themselves. I like the cut scene idea too, but likely only appropriate for the poor bloke walking the plank.

Well there is already a kick a person off of you ship but only In SvS ( Ship vs Ship ) and I beleave they have to be in your crew. How to do this is click their tag. Bring up the Icon on the far botem left. Then 3 Icons will pop up. At the very top is kick of ship. In a picture of a Boot. When you click this they will be kicked off your ship and out of your crew also: Hope this helped you mates out =).

thanks dude for the complemint of the cutscene and only boot the pirates that threaten you or do anything bad like not letting you have the wheel but you gotta be captain to make pirates walk the plank

If we are doing cut scenes I want them to get a black mark and the Kraken to rise up and eat em LOL

i never thought of it that way.So maybe this wouldnt be a good idea.
