I think it depends more on whether or not there's game-breaking bugs out there.

Obviously opinions will vary. I saw the games as targeting younger players for the most part, having played much better polished versions of some of the ship repair games on FREE social networking sites, they were severly lacking. Its no challenge to move your mouse across the screen ONCE, or down the screen ONCE (cant believe thats a game!). The potion game was alright, a little clunky to me, but ok. Fishing doesnt work even on test yet, as far as I can tell.
Not sure what else there is.

Not a bad addition to the game, just a few of them seem rather low end (you get more exciting things out of cracker jacks).

C'mon, they're just mini-games. I bet by tomorrow some Hard-Core Testers would have already found loads of them bugs. If there are any game-breaking bugs (rare for a mini-game update), they too can be fixed over two days. I'm placing my bets that for a small update like this, it will hit Live in less than a week.
First, let them release the awaiting mini-games (Land cannons, Fishing, Swamp mini-games)

Sounds like a cross between Toon Town ( minigames ) and WOW ( potions, and.. was that... FARTING??? omg )

I was hoping for some more original ideas.. maybe I'm wrong?

Speaking personally I left Pixie Hollow mostly due to the tedium of never ending mini games. I have no desire to play them here. I am hoping that it's possible to play Pirates without messing with mini games.

Midhav 05-07-2010 11:02 AM

But TheHawke, these mini-games are to help the player. You know potions and ship repairment.
I don't know the necessity of Land cannons and Fishing, but probably like all others, there will be an involvement in money

There's a potion letting you turn into a crab... LOL

Kat Five Knives 05-07-2010 12:03 PM

How about a potion for turning rude people into crabs? Found one of those yet? LOL

You're joking right?

James Bladefury 05-07-2010 12:25 PM

she isn't, there are also potions that turn you into an alligator and a scorpion. Lv 20 potion required!

Jamesvsthekraken 05-07-2010 02:18 PM

How come they got rid of fishing? :'( :( :/

MacIronhawk 05-07-2010 02:30 PM

The only thing I'd like them to do is have an option of doing ship repair in 3D or in 2D.

If it were in 3D, it would be much more... exciting? Sort of.

The Evil Will Mcbain 05-07-2010 02:51 PM

I choose to stay away from the mini-game discussion. On A different note, I like that we can do damage with grapeshot now :)

Juliana Maria 05-07-2010 02:55 PM

What is with the throwing up and farting? Probably just me.. but I don't find those amuzing. The last thing I want to see is tons of pirates gathering to puke and fart. I find it rather repulsive actually.
