i believe will mcbane is right let me put it together walter is dead new islands are in the phase files the movies say you can go to the locker and rescue a lost soul and davy jones locker is technically an island. so this clicking together for anyone else

Only curious thing about the Locker idea is that Walter is GM character... and to date - NO GM characters have been incorporated into actual quests that meant anything.

Having Jones show up is a big, big deal. No offense to Walter, but he's easily upstaged. If Jones shows up at all - it will be part of any Chapter 2 storyline. And I personally don't think the GM characters should be showing up in those.

Capt. Walter has been "killed" by Rott, so Rott says. As of this time it's the only account we have to go on and Rott has been seen saying as much. How about this:

New Islands are supposedly on the way. I will guess 5 new ones. With 5 new bosses. Why? The following.

Rott and his clan are of the Casa de Muerta or House of the Dead. Cursed they be. The isle Jack, Will, and Elizabeth went to was the Isla de Muerta, Isle of the Dead. Rott had 4 others from his "House" when he was paying handsomly for his quests.

My guess is that pirates will need to rescue Walter from Rott and his breathren while also retrieving items to be placed back on Isla de Muerta. At least is makes more sense to me than having Walter being "dead" or is it "undead"?
