I am sure Disney is going to fix it. The same problem happened last year, they did a update that sorta reset the quest (since quest can't be done twice).

Last year if you could pick up the quest, you could do it again after they did the reset.

Soooo today on my new pirate I would use that double XP ASAP and hope they reset the quest for everyone and do it again :D

a truly devious mind.

Can't get the quest on ANY of my 4 pirates. Would like to add that (if indeed it is a problem with not giving the quest to us longer-term players) 2 of my 4 pirates were not around during the last Father's Day event. So...yeah... =/

Isn't there a button to click that shows us the time remaining?

The Skirata Clan 06-17-2010 02:37 AM

I still have last years XP in one of my pirates.

The reply i got from Members Service:

Unfortunately, we are not going to make the Father's Day quest available on our Test servers. However, if you have an avatar that has not completed the quest on our Live servers you will have a chance to complete the quest. We are aware that the Quest is not available to pirates who have previously completed it. We are working hard to make sure to have this quest available for all on our Live servers soon.

That's kinda sad with the disregard of testers in test server.

This means new pirates who can do the quest, you should use that double XP ASAP. A reset will be coming soon and you can pick up that quest again :D

I dont. =) All I have to look forward to is farts, no quests, and the same old stuff.
Fun fun fun.

Nice knowing everyone here, had some great friends, but am closing my account.

=)

We'll be at Guild Wars actually DOING something.

That's why I spend more time here than at POTCO Nelly. I said before and I will say it again POTCO is struggling to survive.

Yes, and I dont mean to SOUND negative. I just hope people realize there are better games out there for the money. Everyone I know who played, and who still pops in from time to time agrees the game is dying a slow death.

Once you play something else, its impossible to go back and be satisfied.
I enjoy the forums here more than the game itself. =(

I've never done this quest before. This summer will be my first year on Pirates. And I couldn't get the quest.

The Skirata Clan 06-17-2010 10:25 PM

You are going to have fun Mr./Mrs. 12.

There is no button but if you type /x2 into local chat it will tell you how much time you have left.

William ORoberts 06-19-2010 04:55 PM

And how long does the double rep last?

3 hours of playing time (if you log off the clock stops and starts again when you log in again with that pirate). Starts as soon as you complete the quest.

William ORoberts 06-19-2010 08:55 PM

Ok , thanks!
