Agreed completely with ya, Davy! I also understand why people want updates and the kraken and such, but if we got all of that now then the game would get boring very fast, in my opinion. There would be nothing to wait for!

CD, is the game presently boring for you? If it is not, I am completely baffled by how having a ton of new content released would somehow make it boring. Really I am not seeing this. Taking Davy's hypothetical example, how does the game get boring if Disney releases Raven Cove, ship customization / ability to buy new ship types , and Davy Jones & the Kraken this week and rolls out some new content, let's say, every 6 weeks? To me that would make the game more exciting.

I get your point. But for example: fishing just came out two days ago. I have already mastered it so its not as exciting for me anymore. If all of the new content came out now, there would be no more excitement for me. Every 6 weeks wouldn't be bad, I guess. I just like having things to look forward for. Right now I have a lot!

I understand, now that you are mastered on fishing, as far as progressing, there isn't much to do but be optimistic about what we know will come out next. Which is exactly why I switched to a Basic Account. This points to the lack of a substantial end game. Luckily, I still enjoy a little SvS though I know many who don't. I'm hoping Raven's Cove will bring some deeper content than the recent mini-games, which are okay I guess. :SkullBullet1:

I hope it will bring more content as well! So far from what I've heard it should. :D

The idea of Disney holding back updates and making people wait and stay suspicious about updates is a great market strategy, curious players stick around and play to see the new updates. After the updates are getting old, they bring out new plans for new updates and make players wait some. and it seems to be working ;P

Davy, it be true, that age old knowledge; anticipation is often better than the thing itself. But when you've been waiting for something to come out since the game was created, you begin to lose that anticipation. Then you don't get the thing, or that which makes the wait worthwhile. I do not ask that they give us everything at once, but rather that they give us something that makes the makes us think the wait was worth it all.

Aye. My point is that if they released everything at once, we would be really happy.... for a few weeks. Then we will get bored because once we have done everything, there is nothing left to do.

D'accord. I completely agree. Look at half the members on this game. Fishing came out 2 days ago, count them, TWO DAYS AGO, and they already mastered it. Yes, it is quite simple, but I seriously think they need to take their time on the leveling. If everything came out at one time, we would have nothing to do within a couple of weeks. Nuff said.

Lol yea... I fished for roughly three hours today and am already lv 13. Ill master it tomorrow most likely.
