Best I can guess, someone managed to kill something, opening the chest just as they teleported. Otherwise it's just plain randomness.

I dont think its a person. I think its a loot pouch. Lemme say it again, in bold this time: There are no enemies on the privateering islands!!! How can someone have defeated an enemy?!

Yeah, reflections are hard to edit... I dunno. Maybe a Dev got bored and put it there. :P

P.S. Looks like a chest and a loot pouch together. Why would someone edit that loot pouch in there?

i think its just a glitch with fishing when you get loot tit probably makes a chest skull or loot pouch someome must have ben fishing and it got there

And the shawdow says its real.

Not to jump in but the "shadow" is pretty easy to duplicate for a skilled photo editor.

But I have looked at the picture closely and have come to the conclusion that it is real. No signs of tinkering.

Just one of those weird things you see once and can never duplicate. I think it's a pretty cool find. :skull:
