I have a theory, they are doing all they can to help us level up because once Ravens Cove opens they are going to up the Notoriety and master levels again. Since Ravens Cove has harder enemies and such.

Yes they are, the question I have is why are they doing them? before you answer I know some people like them. But that did not get potco doing these events ae often in the past.

It is strange seeing so many GM events, or events such as these so frequently, but I think they may be doing it because during the fishing update, they left us somewhat, bored? Now they're trying to keep us entertained until Raven's Cove arrives. Hardly matters why they're doing it, just glad they're doing it, gives some bored pirates something to look forward to.
