To me, Johnny Depp is probably one of the most versatile actors in Hollywood. He can play just about any role.

I think they got the casting right,lol. I really like Hugh Jackman, but can't picture him as Captain Jack Sparrow. Had he got the role, it would be an entirely different movie.

It's like Kurt Russell originally in mind for Han Solo instead of Harrison Ford.
