It's hard to make a game and maintain it. a guy that i know made a simple game 2-D where you doge flying rocks in a space ship. He's done with the game now, but it took him about a week to finish one level. I'm not sure how many levels he made, but if he made 5 it would take him a month and one week. imagine how long it could take to just repair a small thing in potco.

Thats what you get when you have morons who use automated messages. they have no personal touch, and for all we know Pirates will have the patch out Monday because the weekend will definitely be off time.

It's not like that wasn't expected though. I'm sure they're getting hundreds, if not, thousands of angry emails/bug reports from Mac users. Would you really try to address each one of those individually? I know I wouldn't!

He's talking about using a disk that has the OS of Vista or XP and using boot camp to download it onto your Mac, and basically make it so PC programs are compatible with a Mac.

Is the problem you're experiencing a "cannot connect to the server" issue? I was playing the other night for the first time, and I got on. I now am playing again and have come up with this strange error numerous times (yes, my internet connection is fine!). I'm going to be trying to uninstall Pirates and reinstall in order to attempt the same scenario as the other night where I had success in getting on. I'll be sure to post if this works.

Edit: Problem seems to have been solved by doing this. Good luck to all my fellow Mac users.
