I don't think potco would ever do this though because it then motivates you more to get unlimited.

Well, in 2007 I had three accounts, two of whom I paid for. I remember back then you couldn't even play poker as basic! But over the years Disney has given in to the players' needs. It's just like in Toontown, when they finally gave unpaid players the access to go to different places.

Ships and basic people

I'm a level 30. I was unlimited and I bought a frigate. I'm not unlimited anymore and I wanted to know if I'm the only one thinking I should still be able to use the ship, even tho I'm basic.

According to me, I paid it! So I should be able to use it. What do you think?

When you were basic you could not purchase anything beyond a light galleon. You were also locked out of many quests and access to clothing, weapons etc.

Why would you continue to pay as a full member if you got all the bells and whistles as basic?

Although I completely understand your point, there is no possibility in my mind Disney would ever do that. They have to make money to keep the game going.

I know, but anyway.

Yeah, that is entirely understandable, but it wouldn't be right after a while. Take a friend of mine for an example. He got four, count 'em, FOUR El Patrons while unlimited. When he went basic, he wouldn't have anything else to pay to Disney. And Disney doesn't really like it when people stop paying, especially if they don't have a point to pay. I understand by what you mean, and I'm full on with Basics getting more, but I don't think D would approve as much..

maybe they could offer like they did before a weekend of all unlimited

John Wildcutter 08-18-2011 10:31 AM

Yea, they should do a weekend of unlimited again.

Captain Jorden 08-18-2011 10:36 AM

I'm waiting for half off weekend. for basic its unlimited weekend. They had it last year and the year before. Why not this year or next year?
