Whoa, now I'm confused. Does that mean a guild sub-forum and a guild website are the same? *confusededed*

Batleth 01-17-2008 02:49 AM

No need to argue guys.

Anyway, if you are looking for webhosting, clan e-mail, or a subforum here on POF for your clans please read the following thread Guild Website Hosting, E-mails, and Sub-forums.

when you get the forum you get the sub-forum also, I geuss. But I still can't get to it, it'll be tommorow. See you tommorow!

Don't worry Batleth, my co-supervisor and me wouldn't argue with each other. I was just taking it that signing up for a sub-forum and signing up for the guild website hosting were 2 entirely different things. I think I'll go hide in the report's private forum for a while again.

I got your subforum set up and set you up as clan leader of your forum. Nick is working on creating the webhosting for your clan now. I'm sure he'll be in contact with you shortly with more details.

LOL...Ok.

My understand since this is fairly new for us to provide:
If you request webhosting, you will automatically get a sub-forum also.
You can request a sub-forum by itself too for those not wishing to mess with creating their own site.

I'll let Nick correct me, if I'm wrong..lol

Ah, I understand how you all plan to do it now. ^^

Don't think he'll be replying here soon, I think between my PM about the Pirate Report sub-forum fixings and his website, he'll be busy for a few hours. ^^

Thanks for sorting that out though, Batleth. *stares at SB as if afraid of his new name color*

EDIT: BTW, I know Clan leader gives some mod powers for that subforum, but could you explain what those are?

I am finding out right now...Gimme a minute...

My guild (Burning Legion) was wondering how we can get on the sub-forum setup and when I click Batleths link it said that internet explorer was not able to display the page. Any other ideas?

Pirate Rose 01-20-2008 03:48 PM

Send Batleth a pm :)

Guild now has their own subforum and your guild leader is now a clan leader.

I wanted to remind clan leaders that they can manage threads in their own subforums. Just click on thread tools in a thread and it'll bring up a small list of things you can do. You stick/unstick, open/close, delete/undelete, and edit (basically used to rename a) threads. If you have any further questions about clan leader abilities, let me know.
