Unfortunately.... Without the XP CD, we are limited on options. It could be corrupt files and/or hardware. TSC is right..... It's time to take it in. I'm not sure how old your PC is.... But don't pay too much for a repair as you can get a decent tower brand new for around $300.00.

Um... yeah... it just went in loops on Thursday and it was fixed. Turns out there was some spyware and pretty bad malware hidden on it (even with AVG auto scans, ad-aware scans, and spybot search and destroy! @_@). The guy got rid of that and rearranged some of the things on it to make it work a little better. So... I'm Back!
And to TSC's infamous "your computer banned you!"... my computer may have banned me, my friend, but I banned it back. :) *thread closes* :D |
Good to see you back! I will get her to ban you again! HaHaHa!!

I was wondering how old your computer is. Maybe that could be the whole entire cause. If its a "oldie" you may want to replace it to stop future problems like this.

And if you really want to know HOW it came to have these crazy viruses... apparently they got in through Java (@_@) or something and took down the automatic updates, then they just did... something... to it until it went in loops at the start-up... :psmiley27: It's all good... :) |
Ignore my last posts... it's dying... so no one should expect much activity from me for a few days... :(
EDIT: More like the motherboard is dying... slowly... dying... Oh... and I guess TSC was right... @_@ He did get her to ban me back... :O |
Good luck getting a new one or fixing it!

Success!! HaHaHa!! Sorr-o!
Any who... Hope it gets properly fixed if it can be fixed. If not, hope you get a new machine. |
