With that in mind, I just went to the Misty Mire and took this screencap tonight, Thursday 2/7, on Romana Ocean.

While I was there, it spawned three times in as many minutes.

I can attest to the fact that he's there, considering he's chomped me up so many times when I forgot about him. Stupid gator.

In Tortuga, Just before the set of skellys at the shck, there is a path to the left. Take that path and go past the two flytraps. The ally will appear by that shack when you approach. I did it last night.

in misty mire if you take a left just before the skellys at the first cabin and go past the two flytraps you will see a cabin. The gator appears as you approach it.

going from the beach into misty mire go past the first pirate and gator. (Just before the first cabin). there is a path to the left. Go down that path past the two flytraps. As you approach the other cabin, the huge gator will appear.

THREAD-MAKER NOTE: In the Misty Mire, head straight. Find a small path to the left, or find the Giant Crab Podium. You'll see torches either way. Find a little shack, and walk around the front of it. A Huge Gator will appear.

i killed one today, it's in misty mire near tht shack.......i cldn't find it first, almost died at the jaws of a big gator and a giant **** :p, narrowly escaped them and ran into the huge gator.......

there's one in cuba too but cldn't find it this morning....

Just as wild said, by the shack with no entrance to the inside. It will eventually appear.

Thank you Stormrunner I found the huge alligator in the Misty Mire you are talking about.

Hang a left at the first fly trap, go past the second fly trap and he is by the shack on the right.

Edit: You are right about the spawn time being a bit long on some servers. I was on Sanila Ocean

when I first found it and I had to change servers a couple times to find one that spawns faster.

in the tortugan swamps i would arm myself with voodoo (trust me it helps)
