Del,

The curious thing about the ship at sea story is how they found this person among the countless ships. I can only guess that they are somehow connected to some of your guys where they can then check on which server they are on - then sail out to be a pain.

Which means, that either someone is unwittingly associated with these problem folks - OR - you have someone in PNC who is a problem.

And I've been there on the old guild spy garbage.

How much I trust my guild would probably be considered by many as an unhealthy thing, but I know for a fact we care too much about one another to do such a thing.

Lempona is a "dump server" in terms of PvP, in that pirates who often do PvP matches get thrown on to a server such as Lempona after the match. Because the pirates we encountered were jumpers, it's likely they came off of an A server. Lempona was also a server relatively close to the one where the incident on Sunday occurred.

Let it also be known the ship my Officer was AFK on was a Victory Shark, which is a ship name synonymous with our guild.

A suggestion might be the following:

1. Do not respond to rude comments or remarks
2. If you speak at all, keep it positive
3. If it continues, take a screen shot, and THEN ignore or report
4. TP away.

They will eventually tire and stop. I hope Disney helps ya out too.

Got a response from Disney that said they'll take care of it. It was a little more personalized than most Misbehaving Persons reports, so I was satisfied.

I'll try to pass this on to the guild, Kat. Thanks for the advice! I'll admit that I responded to the griefers (Bad habit I Should learn to break, honestly), but I never try to insult them, just in case the mods do look over the reports. It's usually just responses to get them to say more bad stuff that will get them more likely to get banned. A lot of that happened with the incident the other day, and one of our Officers got screenshots that were subsequently sent to Disney. A few of our members, when we were discussing it in guild chat, said that we should just PVP them, win and be on our way, but that's never seemed like an ideal situation for me; If they win, they'll brag and grief some more, and if they lose, their pride will be hurt and they'll grief some more. It's lose lose.

Besides, it was rather amusing to hear my life story of being left on the side of the road as a baby.

I was on Davy, and saw a group of Pirates near an officer in our guild (( Not knowing they were there..)), and she was afk. If these folks were the cause, then it's a shame I wouldn't know it, I would have reported. I just told them to tell the officer that I said hello, thinking they were freinds, and went on my merry way... Also, there was an AFK person by that officer. Something isn't right about these waters....

Exactly, I was trying to say that PvPing them would only lead to MORE problems and escalate the tensions between us.

Not to go all "What if" on you, but what if it would be a tie? It would prove to be equal, no bragging, and no hurt pride...:rumgt7:

eh, they would still find a ridiculous reason to keep greifing us.

Then they'll either say that they won, or that we did something stupid and they should have won. Either way, the grief continues.

The ship Del uses most often is a war sloop named the Victory Shark, with an SvS Admiral's badge next to the ship name. My ship - the one that I was on - is a war sloop, also named the Victory Shark, and I'm also an Admiral in SvS Infamy. I wasn't too far out at sea; just by the shore of Padres. I think that the griefers saw my ship and thought that it was Del's.
