To what Swash said...
As Skirata put, you can play the Wii with hardly any movement at all (and there IS the classic controller, same movement required with it as with regular PS3 and 360 controllers).

Also, remember, the PS3 and 360 has copied the Wii in its movement gaming. (PS3 has PS Move controllers, a lot like the Wii to me, and the 360 has Kinect. Both, like the Wii, require more movement than regular controllers.)

The Kinect was an add-on to the 360 and required no controller so it did not rip off the Wii in any way. But I agree the Move did blatantly copy Wii.

Either way none compare to the ultimate gaming platform, PC. In terms of sales PC has sold a thousand times more than all gaming platforms combined.

Back on-topic MW3 is not good for the Wii unless you are good at aiming with the Wii mote. If you're not, then you might want to consider buying a 360/PS3 or a controller.

Love how this devolved into a discussion of best console. But like the others said, give it a test, see if you like gameplay etc.

On the Wii, there's less skilled people. Of course some people might want to go for it, then. Probably just to win all the time.

Then again... they just might be naturally good with the Wii control set and/or just don't have enough money for the other consoles, which is fine, nothing wrong with that.

I only have problems with the first sentence I typed, thinking people wouldn't play as "hard" as the console version, expecting an easy win "most" of the time.

To be honest, I'd be buying the new Legend of Zelda for the Wii. MW3 is okay... But I'm pretty sure you'll be a tad disappointed if you buy it for the Wii. I didn't even know they made MW3 for the Wii. (Now I ask, where is MW2 for the Wii?) But as TSC said, renting it and trying it out would be the best idea. We can't tell you what you'll like. :P

Good choice.

FPS are always at their best on Windows/Mac machines.

The mouse is tons better than that broken thumb stick on game controllers (after wear).

Hope you enjoy those games.

I chose because i just got a new PC. It is a Windows. And I don't have Xbox or PS3, and i am not getting one. I don't really want it on wii. And it has amazing graphics on PC. (Battlefield 3 and Modern Warfare 3)

Of course, because for Windows machines, there's always an opportunity of upgrading the hardware.

For consoles, NO. You are NOT given the right to change factory-selected components after the game console has been assembled.

Plus, they always get the other countries to put cheap products into it, so performance is almost always limited (with the exception of COD games always optimizing their games to run at a solid 50+ FPS regardless of what's rendering)

Hey, could you post a link of the PC you bought? I wanna see what the machine has.

I heard that MW2 was a hacker fest on PC which is why I didn't get it.I'm hesitant to get MW3 since it may be the same.Have you seen any indications of this?

The hacked lobbies are kinda fun, but I agree IW and Activision need to crack down on the Hackers.

Robert Ironcastle 12-08-2011 10:31 PM

Ok,thanks guys.Guess I'll skip MW3 for PC then.

M0nkey 12-13-2011 12:45 AM

MW2 wasn't that bad at 1st on PC, then a few months later the hacked lobby amount was pretty high but it has been declining. MW3 will probably be the same. I've only played played MW3 on my PS3 for a little bit and then gave it back to my friend. I play BF3 on my pc and love it. Graphics look great and game play is nice. I'll probably by MW3 whenever I get bored with BF3 and Red Orchestra 2.

Me, I don't believe in buying a FPS game for PC just for the multi-player.

Why pay for a product that you can try your best at and still always lose to many hackers on the game?

Consoles are better for FPS games that are played online because it's much harder to reverse engineer systems (Xbox 360 being somewhat easy, PS3 being plain annoying)
