I honestly do not have enough knowledge to continue this arguement, but what I do have is game company experience.

Playing Disney's MMO games for at least a total of 6+ years, I've recently learned the team behind Pirates Online simply does not care about giving us anything content or patch related. In 2010, they allowed bullying to reach an all time high on many servers. They didn't push for stricter punishments or read reports. They didn't care about the cheaters autoing and speeding around the Caribbean.

It's as if Disney wants the player-base to construct activities to pass the time in the game, at least 70% of the time.

And I can say you do have tons more experience about people's insight + opinions and see more value in this game because you are a guild master. That is a hard duty to keep a guild alive, fun, etc.

But for the hardcore players, they really have nothing fabulous to offer besides talk to friends that you have to somehow find through game activities, real life, or just plain hanging out on a server with bountiful amounts of players.

So, I will end it here.

I found this idea rather interesting. All ideas are really in my opinion. After reading the pros and cons about bringing back the 'old islands', I believe it's still worth accomplishing. I don't think it's feasible to do it exactly the way Ice Storm described it. Tiberious may be right about editing them a bit and stick it some place on the map. Even then, that may not quite be best.

What I see, instead, is to use those old island maps (Port Royal; Tortuga; Padres) and the old cave/ subworld sections in a separate server for PvP and SvS only. In fact, have all those PvP type features in Live placed in that PvP-only server environment. There are players who want to do PvP in a better map environment. It is evident why they keep doing that PvP glitch. They want to fight against a better and more challenging target: a human player. They also want large scale attacks on a regular basis, not just once every 6 months.

I could go on, but take note about what Ice last wrote:

In light of the latest hacking and all that, it seems to me that no matter what POTCO does, those players intend to mess with it because they see themselves as being very pirate-like than the rest of us. Something POTCO has a tendency to point out as well as if to shrug their shoulders and look the other way. Even if POTCO is upset by such illegal activities, by the time they solve it, that solution may end up coming too little, too late.

I really like this idea. I think that the "What Once Area" could be accessed by clicking on "one of those circular rotating yellow object things" like in Pirates of the Caribbean: Master of the Seas only it wouldn't change day into night it would bring you to the "What Once Was Area". :bookishfj7: :piratewheelgo2:
