If you have a userpage here on POF, you can use the various code examples on your userpage. (simply insert them into the page)

Depending on the code your using, it will require to you to change the "Text" portion to say what you wish, or the "image" portion to be the web address (aka URL) to the image you wish implemented.

sammyh 08-17-2008 03:34 PM

um... i dont get it ekb... so how do you get it to be something like:
(sig image)
pm me / visit my userpage/
at the bottom of your sig or visit my userpage click the sig! i didnt get it. O_o like how do you have the text and not say... www. piratesonlineforums .com/sammyh/userpage/ or something?

Dr. Zeppers 08-17-2008 05:14 PM

Sammy, have you tried looking at the BBCode help guide?

In the forums here, bottom left corner where it says "BB Code is on" you can click for a reference page to the commands, and it gives examples.

Here is the link: BB Code Help

How did I do that ^^^^^^ ?
I typed this:

[url=http://www.piratesonlineforums.com/forums/misc.php?do=bbcode]BB Code Help[/url]

Legend:
BB Code Tag
Target URL
Displayed Link Title

To answer your question more precisely... your sig code would look something like this:

[CENTER]
[img]yoursig.png[/img]
[url=<url#1>]URL Title 1[/url] - [url=<url#2>]URL Title 2[/url] - [url=<url#3>]URL Title 3[/url]
[/CENTER]

I'm trying to set up my userpage...Mine is the same as Sams
Code:

<embed src="yourfile.mid" height="45" width="300" autostart="true" loop="true">
Would it be more like:
Code:

<embed src="YOUR SONG URL.mid" height="45" width="300" autostart="true" loop="true">
?

Thats the thing that has me stuck right now..how to add music

Sven Niscadae 12-23-2008 01:39 AM

Andrew, yes, put the entire URL to your midi within the quotes for the "src" atrribute just as you have it there. That should be all you need to get a midi playing.

You will need to upload your mid/wav/mp3 (music file) to a file host, perhaps fileave.com or another approved file hosting site.

Details, details! Zep, you always get me on the details. :xtongue:
