pdd lvl for and odd skill its also odd that they didnt announce this O_o in there release notes

TobiasOhawk 02-29-2008 01:19 AM

I knew I should have saved some points, oh well :(

We need a way to reset points spent but at a great cost so it's not exploited in anyway, I'd happily pay 60000 gold for a tonic or super strength rum that makes me "forget" all the skills I've learnt.

Drink up me hearties yo ho!

Chris 02-29-2008 01:20 AM

lol super strong rum that makes ye have a hang over and forget all your skills O_o

Angel 02-29-2008 01:28 AM

So if ur under lvl 17 sails you can get it, if ur above its not able to? BTW, if you have skills available and mastered, its not available.

Caleb Killagin 02-29-2008 05:08 PM

Really? I cannot unlock it. I guess they are still working on it.

ScurvyCory 02-29-2008 06:57 PM

Well that sucks for us sailing masters.

CaptainMonkeys 03-01-2008 01:21 PM

Oops! My mistake. I checked my level two sailer, and it didn't have an unlock.

P.S. I was looking at the wrong thing...

Sarah 03-01-2008 01:45 PM

I was just on my lev 5 sailing pirate, and it didn't show an unlock level, so i guess it's a "use it anytime" skill. Stinks for those that are maxed though...I wonder why it wasn't in the release notes??

Chris 03-01-2008 03:02 PM

ok so here is the question has anyone applied sp to it?? if so what lvl sailer are ye

the best idea for a skill point reset would be rum but the rum is not an insane cost. The only downside to the rum is that it subtracts a certin ammount of xp so if you "rum" it out too much to reset all your dagger skill you might lose 2 or 3 levels and you level them back up to get your 2 or 3 points back.

IE .

Captian jack's forgetful rum voodoo- Poke
Captian jack's forgetful rum voodoo-Swarm
Captian jack's forgetful rum voodoo-Heal

ETC..

They would subtract say 750 noterioty per grog you drank. it would subtract it from your overall noterioty as well as the specific skill in this case voodoo poke, swarm or heal.

Overall at a loss of experiance points you can have a point reset in any specific skill with each grog you drank. Allowing you to reallocate it immideatly unless you lost a level with that grog then you would have to level up again to get your free point back.

Verry simple and good idea if i made any sense lol. English is not my first so sorry in advance!

I wondered if it was an extra that was loaded at the same time all the other stuff (hats clothes tattoos etc) appeared. I don't remember it being there before and also there is no green "unlocks at level" wording. Has anyone actually chosen this skill yet??

OK, I understand that English is not your language of chioce, but this made no sence to me at all. Can you try again?

Sarah 03-02-2008 11:48 AM

Well I tried to activate the new skill last night on my little pirate, and it wouldn't. There was still no "skill unlocks at lev___" there, but I couldn't put a point into it. Another bug, or big time mistake by the dev's? We'll see...

Angel 03-02-2008 12:37 PM

It is a new skill that they will most likely implement when tehy raise the cap from 40 to whatever. Once the boss is back open and they start on teh next chapter, tehy have to give us mastered people something to work for. Thats where that skill gets used at.

Sarah 03-02-2008 02:41 PM

Ah, Angel, I didn't think of that. That makes sense.
