ROFL! That must be it! My little pirate who got the clothing drop was just doing a quiest, and BAM, purple pants! My big pitare, who has nothing to do but grind weapons, was hoping for clothing, and NADA!

After hours spent at Tormenta with my level 35 I've gotten nothing.
Less than one minute in Wildwoods with my level 5 at the time and bam! a purple belt dropped!

Well, I've got 3 pirates goin and nothing from any of them. Maybe its my account is buged.....dunno.

Got a orange pirate hat (girl) a few days ago on tortuga. I also got a bright red fancy vest but don't know how. I learned about the vest while checking my clothing items.

One problem with your theory,
I didn't even know about the cloths drops, and I have been killing everything in tormenta, for the past week... didn't get anything, (well, other than a couple of free tp's to jail!):psmiley35:

I got a brown vest from a Veteran on Kingshead a couple weeks ago. :)

Molly has plundered two pieces of clothing both about three weeks ago and within five days of each other:

I plundered the ugliest long sleeved yellow shirt while stumping in Outcast and got a pair of bright red short pants from an assassin on KH.

I never wear the shirt, but the pants are in regular rotation

My noob Meg (well, she's not really a noob anymore, lvl22) plundered her first piece of clothing last weekend. It was a bright orange short sleeved shirt. She got it on KH from, of all things, a lvl12 EITC Grunt.

I'm still waiting to plunder a pair of boots...i don't know if anyone has ever done that, but man! that would be awesome lol

I got a pink/purple belt from a Stump at Outcast! WOOT finally!!!!
