I'm impressed with your graphic and quote from the movie. great work.

You also have Gandalf as your avatar! I'm a big fan of LOTR; the movies, and the books. If fact, I'm in the middle of re-reading it and already halfway through Fellowship of the Ring. It helps me calm down before going to sleep after all the virtual plundering.

Thank ye Cap'n! After sailin', graphics be my greatest love. Though, sorry to dissapoint, but that be Hector Barbossa, not Gandalf. I must take me hat off to Master Gandalf all the same, he be a fine character. And Lord of the Rings a worthy tale for anyone what need get lost in an adventure.

I wrote askin' that very question. Apparently the way it be workin' is that only forum members can be viewin' yer profile, so if ye be chosin' to put yer age there ye may, though it not be recomended. Anyone can be viewin' the forums as a guest however and yer information would be more widely spread. Therefore the rules be a bit more strict.

Hope that be of some help in the confusion.

Ah yes, I see it now. That's clearly Capt. Barbossa....

Embarrassed for the mistake.

I wouldn't be embarrassed. The avatar is such a close up that he looks very much like Gandolf .

Syra is very talented at graphics and coding. She is constantly amazing me.

No Doubt. Nice Artistic eye.
My Niece took up doing graphics and websites a couple of years ago. I thought 'oh that's cute' .... Long story short; she's only 20, now does it professionally, and will soon be making more at it than I ever will in my career. LOL Keep up the good work Syra It could pay off.

Guild Question;

If any of you know, please post; how do we meet within the game after joining the guild? I know how after someone is on your friend list, but not a guild.

Thank you to those who've joined. I saw your names listed under "Guild Members"

Now that they list the servers, it may be that we just have to set a date and time and list the server's name. I don't know how convenient that will be at different Time Zones. I'm on Eastern Time USA.

I'm going to research this more later. It's late here and need to get back to reality.

Thanks for all of your responses

~Silver

That's a very good question. I have no idea though. Syra and I are on Pacific time. We may just have to arrange a time to meet like you said.

Vagrant_Queen 12-13-2007 05:32 AM

Wow! That's awesome :D I know that there are some great jobs out there if you're good enough. Not sure if I'll ever make it that far but it's worth keeping in mind.

I've looked and can't find a way to go to a guild member. Or even talk to one for that matter. Rosa has found out how to talk though, she introduced herself. (Sorry Rosa! Didn't mean to ignore you.)

I can usually be on between 6pm and 9am your time Silver. Earlier if it's more convenient. So if you'd like to set up a time and place let me know :)

I know I'm not apart of the guild, but here is my 2 cents....

You can freely chat with guild members by using the guild tab in your chat box. As for "going to" a guild member you cannot. In BL we use the guild chat to figure out where people are and then teleport there to make friends. That's the best way so far. If your friend's list is too full, you can crew them, this is another way to teleport to them (sadly the crew resets eachtime you log out) Hopefully Disney will add more features to the guild menu......*sigh* In BL we also have a guild server/ocean/sea to use.....that might be helpful in your guild. It's just a thought

hope to see ya in POTC

yes I am truly wonderful! haha.

When meeting people I usually pick a spot like the docks in Tortuga through Guild chat and make sure we are on the same server or "ocean". TaDa! Good Luck and Good Plunder!

Thanks for those helpful suggestions

It was nice of you to take the time. I think that will work.

I received a friendly message from "Captain Grizzly" about his guild "Bad To The Bones" as being a mature group similar to what I was proposing.

I replied that I appreciate the offer but we've already started the "Tortuga Warriors", and We will consider "Bad to the Bones" as a Brother guild.

His reply was;

'Not a problem, we at BTTB wish you much success with your guild.

Keep an eye open for us in game, always glad to help out when we can.'

So, if you see a member of the Bad to the Bones guild, maybe say hello.

Vagrant_Queen 12-16-2007 04:22 PM

Wonderful! I'll keep an eye out for them. It's always nice to have more people to play with, especially when sailing.

I was looking over the "Players Q&A" on the official web site and found the following cool info. :

'I was wondering why some POTC online players (avatars) over level 30 can do things like play a guitar or sweep with a brush??!! What is this and how do they do this? Thanks!

This sounds like a case of our DEV's showing off! Stay tuned for fun emotes that may be unlocked by certain quests and notoriety gains.'

Looks like the staff of POTC Online are looking ahead to keep things interesting!

Look forward to running into your group in game. Always nice to work with proper pirates and rouges.
