lol does look like that on the loading screen. Kinda cool to own one since it resembles a scimitar.

Last chance to obtain one begins at 1:00 PM EST today. That's at the top of the hour no matter what your time zone is. Good luck. And for all of you who never reply but peep these forums, show some class at the event. Just request one and chat using the other tabs to your friends in crew, guild or whisper mode. The GM will not give a legendary. He will give both and green letters will appear confirming it. If players yap off and use emotes, chances are high that the trade will not make its way into your Inventory. So be a good sport.

Just got a Desert Claw... though oddly enough I got there right after the GM left, yet I still got it. Not Viper's Kiss though, so I'm still out looking for another GM. Good luck to everyone searching! :buds:

Congrats!

I managed to get them for my other pirates. The thought did cross my mind that the next blog might be about the Marceline Guild getting a hold of these weapons and perhaps make them available to players who were unable to obtain one this weekend? Just use the code to redeem them for a limited time only? I hope so. :)

I wouldn't doubt it. If they're going to actually be bringing out scimitars within the next year, then this event may be followed with a code. It was that way with cursed blades, in that first came the Cursed Seafang Blade, then the actual weapon class released later on.
