Well, I can only come up with a couple possible reasons for this:

1 - A much MUCH larger ship grappled it (yes, I know there are no flag ferrets)

2 - The game needs some serious updating. Here is a photo of a dev moving the ferret into position with a long stick. I've circled the area for clarity.

They also might consider updating their wardrobes, hairstyles, and cameras.

Photo is actually of a WWII era Situation Room. They would plan ship, troop, or aircraft movements and stratigies on large maps with little models. So for an honest answer: Nope, never seen it. :)

I'm mostly a boardgamer....and have played games with lots of little bits that you push around on a map. Sometimes they're cardboard counters, sometimes plastic, and sometimes metal painted miniatures.

Never on a map quite that big though...but 4'x8' isn't uncommon for a miniature game.

LOL Monk! I can see it now - hundreds of Dev's pushing ships around with sticks (They got tired with some so they stuck some of them on a circle string - those are the ships that just keep circling)

No wonder they have no time to fix imbalences and bugs! :)

(Looks around for the Commodore VIC 20... that 5k of memory and Tape Loading Drive - s-w-eet :) )

I'm still waiting for my x-ray glasses to show up in the mail. And my memory must be starting to go, because I don't recall what this thread was about. I've really got to stop going off topic.
