Did the screenshot come from the Test server? I was kinda hoping for a scavenger hunt kind of quest.

Jack normally only appears in the tortuga bar when a quest requiring him triggers his presence.

Are we all going to logon to a "* Visit Jack Sparrow" quest on fathers day?

And will the reward be a scroll telling us we should have spent the day with dad? ;)

No doubt. I hope it isn't for just one day. Disney being a family oriented company and all should understand that most of the "13yr old target players" should be with dad not on the computer.

Doesn't that screen shot remind you of the rum cellar on Rumrunners. Maybe, Jack and his dad are planning a family reunion. :buds: Or maybe Teague left clues on Rumrunner telling us where he is hiding and we all have to follow the Sea Turtle migration route to find him. :erti078:

I just hope they offer this quest all during the week... cause I work weekends ... away from home. :sadmh9:

I'm desperate for any new story quest. And I would not be surprised if we got a quest exactly as described. (groan). After all, the crew from VMK is now putting their mark on Pirates. It would be so like them to have a Father's Day only quest, just like they had the Mother's Day tatoos only available on Mother's Day.
Pirates don't like to be tied to the calendar. And how many pirates wore watches for that matter?
Ah well, we take what we can get. It will be good to see Jack again.

I think when you finish you should get a new treasure list with shrunken heads. Collect them from varies locations and creatures.

Or even better the reward could be a companion creature to help with attacks or draw some of the fire. Like the undead monkey, the parrot, or a dog carrying keys.

Its not likely to be that difficult a quest, wouldnt they make it so it would be suitable for nearly all pirates? They wouldnt want to leave out the level 5-20 pirates, with a quest that requires a lvl30+ pirate to complete.

Looking forward to ANYTHING new. :)

They should allow us to replay the black pearl quest.

Least it would add a little better re-play value for those who've devoted so much time to this other than the "New Pirate" route.

So it opened today.

Ya find jack in the Rowdy Rooster. He has ya run some errands for him and his friends.

After finding Captain Teague aboard a Navy Galleon or Frigate you receive a 3 hour Double XP Bonus.

The welcome screen says its a weekend event like the previous events.
I woulda prefered something that lasted like a new tattoo but cant really complain about double XP. Just wish it woulda been a tad bit longer than 3hrs.

I got my staff finally and got it up to lv15 in under 2hrs.

HUGE time saver!
