Inspired by this guide, I have alot more fun playing with my low level pirate friends.

Notoriety level 35, all weapons around level 20, and I can still get like 20-40pts out of a level 4.. hahahaha

Thanks Ironhawk!

Lol Zep
BTW I just checked the Reputation for Staff and found inaccurate
data (for Flamming Skull and Banish) and will update the chart soon.
Soo sorry. You see my pirates have maxed staff so to get those data
i had to ask help from friends who havent maxed staff yet. Maybe
miscommunication or wrong count caused those errors. But my
new pirate just got staff 4 days ago so now i can check the
data by myself. Still level 17 so can't check Desolation yet.

Iron -

When we first talked about Hi-REP many months ago in the Pirate Masters thread even the detail given there was amazing (and was amazed how many didn't pick up on the information).

But this entire post leaves no doubt on how any pirate should now be able to easily obtain large REP without having to 'grind every one of them away'.

Bravo'

As a reminder to everyone, your pirate may have advanced too far for you to take advantage of some of the weapon information posted (like my first pirate) - but fear not! Still use as much of it as you can on remaining weapons and spending points on current weapons to get the max REP for your time.

It is still well worth it :D

(Sorry - behind on all my posts, wanted to say great job last week just haven't had a lot of time :) )

icemage 08-19-2008 08:44 PM

wow... how do u get so much rep.. the most i got was from a lvl 35 stump and I got 189.. I think I followed the guide..

Ironhawk 08-20-2008 03:15 AM

To Max: Thanks :)
To Icemage:
If we don't have a healer or not in glitch then we won't
get much Rep from Stumps. Best way is to sail to Tormenta
and use hex eater shot at Brinescums or Mollusks. When
they're out of voodoo and can't fight back then we can
use skills mentioned in the guide to get big Rep.

Note: since August 14 update, acid poison is stronger now
so i don't recomend Adder.

icemage 08-20-2008 12:50 PM

Umm I didn't tell u but i'm only lvl 29. I don't think i'll have enough time to kill a mollusk before I lose all the rep.

Ironhawk 08-20-2008 01:35 PM

Ah if you are lvl 29 it's better to fight the Undead Gypsies
in the Catacomb (Padres). Use hex shot then skills from
other weapons mentioned in the guide.
In Tormenta you can take the Brinescums.

icemage 08-20-2008 05:55 PM

ok thanks a lot.

Ironhawk 08-21-2008 03:46 PM

Staff Reputation point already corrected.
Also deleted Adder from recommended skill for
dagger because the poison damage point per
second is much higher now after last update.

Very, very helpful guide, but I digress in one area: you have it written with the combinations to get 100 rep points with the most painstaking ways. I think we should do it so the end result is 100 rep. Hence, say for a living enemy, we don't load them full with ineffective shots till we know we got 100 rep; instead, we should do it to synergize time and end rep: once we get within range of 100 (but not 100), and once the rest of our skills can get us to 100 and kill in better time, we should do what we can.

Although I guess you can sync with rep for a different weapon, although I tend to rep with only one at a time..

Oh, and since we're gonna get redistribution, can you revise the damage chart to show damage at Noto 40?

Quoted from the damage chart description:

"The numbers represented here is based on a pirate with Notoriety Level 40 and Weapon Level 25 (but with only one skill point applied) when facing a level 40 enemy."

Again today, someone asked me how I level up so quick. I wish I could cut-n-paste this URL, in-game.
