Well, still, forget the idea of sleeping. But i mean, why not have a hide away. A place to store your loot. A place where perhaps you can set up poker and black jack. I dont know, Surprise me!

Houses shouldnt be added to pirates but Private Islands should.

Dr. Zeppers 09-12-2008 02:04 AM

They should be able to do this in similar fashion that they did in ToonTown.

It could appear to be thier own lil island.. but not in the regular game area.

Or house boats ;)

MacIronhawk 09-12-2008 02:14 AM

I like this idea.
Hopefully this will enter the game.

It mgiht have happened already if Pirates didn't release the game early to get more players than pirates of the burning sea.
Hopefully that mistake will all be in the past within a few years. Nothing good comes out of rushing.

True, they do have a good setup on ToonTown, wouldn't be a bad idea. It's not like someone would be sailing up to your door that way. Wouldn't have to worry about your loot getting stolen or listening to someone complain about their teacher. (LOL)

Private Islands would be sweet. Even Better if you could say make the details yourself.
Ok, just an idea for a private island costs.

Island:
Small: $15,000 (Roughly size of Outcast)
Medium: $30,000 (Roughly size of Kingshead)
Large: $70,000 (Roughly Size of Padres)

Buildings:
Tavern: $4,000 (Poker Table: $500, Black Jack: $500)
Swordsmith: $3,000
Gun Smith: $3,000
Shipwright: $4,000
Jewelry Store: $2,500
Tailor: $2,500
Barber Shop: $2,500
Jail: $1000

Enemies:
Navy: Lv 1-15 $50 Lv 16-40 $100
EITC: Lv 1-15 $100 Lv 16-40 $150
Regular Skeletons: Lv 1-15 $150 Lv 16-40 $200
French Skeletons: Lv 1-15 $200 Lv 16-40 $250
Spanish Skeletons: Lv 1-15 $200 Lv 16-40 $250
Davy Jones Skeleton: Lv 1-15 $300 Lv 16-40 $350

You can add personal touches such as a wall around the town. A path from one town to the next. Perhaps a little beach.

P.S Your home comes free. You just have to place it.

icemage 09-14-2008 10:27 PM

lol why a bathroom?

icemage 09-14-2008 10:28 PM

10,00 for kinghead is too cheap mabe 35,000

CaptainGreeenee 09-14-2008 10:30 PM

ok, ill change it

swashbuckler II 09-15-2008 01:08 PM

The private islands well they wont be buyable and the padres island, How do we buy it if our max gold is 65k.
I like the idea of house guards and ill add it right away and might change the prices

Andrew 09-15-2008 03:58 PM

there better be a bathroom!!, or we would all have to ...do it.. in the ocean..eew. Good idea with the houses though Swash! :)

Dr. Zeppers 09-15-2008 04:39 PM

Since there is no actual user based economy (they better not change this), although interesting alot of this would not work.
For example buying a tavern/gunsmith/jewelry store, etc.

Also trying to mix them in so all users can see everyones building etc would be a logistic nightmare with the volumes of players, both active and idle acquiring them. (Pretty much impossible) This would nullify the need for various types of houses options I think.

It would be nice for pirates to have a place to call thier own, and if you must... to decorate it with items made available should they ever add such a feature (similarly to toontown).

These "homes" would be private and not something that every pirate sees walking down the street, they would be in your somewhat private island/neighborhood. Like one new island on the map we all sail to, and when we dock, we're in the captains home (with our crew visiting us). You would be able to invite friends and acquaintances to visit your home. Perhaps this "home" would be a ship, makes sense to me too. Maybe even keep in a type of home the pirate has, and allow them to purchase upgrades etc.

Shouldnt be too hard to implement as I'd mentioned they did something similar in ToonTown.

With the hoards of people on toontown, and each toon having it's own estate with the capacity for six toon houses, gardens, pets, and their very own fishin hole, setting up the same for Pirates shouldn't be a problem. I'd love my own place in the Caribbean. ;)

I do think it should be a ship though, not an island. IMO.
