I did some experimenting this is actually possible lol, but last step (notoriety) would take awhile.

Anyways for the notoriety problem, try the Cheat Card Poker Quest in the tavern in Port Royal, it gives you 100 pts notoriety every time you win 150 gold in poker. Whenever I have a poker quest, I usually go activate the Cheat Card quest to just in case I do have to cheat in a poker game, I'd get a poker card back at the end of that quest LOL.
