I'm using Vista without any problems, only lag spikes at times.

I haven't been able to play in days. Right after it says "Connecting..." on the second window, it'll take be back to the login one.

For 3 days, after logging in and attempting to connect, I'm booted back to the login screen with a "Game Exited With Error [12]" message.

That's exactly what happens to me. So I'm not the only one.

Exact same deal with me. Which relieves me, because now I know it's not just my computer.

I reinstalled it easily, because I forgot to delete the install program (good thing, too.) If you ever need it again, just go to the official beta site, you can download the install program there.

Hopefully Disney can resolve this, I don't see how they can possibly expect us to test their game if we can't even log in. XD

Throw me into this boat, it has been since the latest updates 05/11/2007 that I have not been able to play pirates online. I have sent numerous messages into them with no response (only canned responses), and no resolution to the problem. Glad to see others are having the same problem with error 12 and not able to log into the game, and its not just me...

I have done everything from disconnecting my firewall and connecting directly to my cable modem, to disabling two different anti-virus software applications, etc and nothing seems to help resolve this problem...Will just keep sending in those bug reports...

I've been able to play, but it's been very laggy. In the past I only had a problem with lag once in a while.

Look at your log when you crash. Mine says stuff like, "could not connect to pirates.gameserver.com" or something like that.

Can't log in! :(
 
So many threads about people crashing.. when I can't even get in at all! :(
I log in, and get the following message, I click OK but it only does the same again when I log in again.
Have not been let in for about a week now. Don't say report the problem as I already have.
Any help or past experiences?

It has been almost a week (the updates of 5\11)since i have been able to log in.
I have sent numerous bug reports in with no response at all.
I have uninstalled and reistalled, disabled all virus programs
but i keep getting "game exited with error[14]"
exited!?!?! window pops up(black screen) then closes after a few seconds
this has happened at LEAST 100x in the past week
FRUSTRATED!!!!

Same with me. I can't even log on right now. I already filed a report about this. If we ALL report this problem, I'm sure the programmers will put this problem on top of their to-do lists.

New patch was released and I can play now, woot! Also, my name got accepted on my second (not main, but it's okay) account. Woot!
