I think the point being made about him being in them already, is referring to THE Jolly Roger, as in the flag, and not to HIM as a character.

Hmm... looking at that Poll question, I doubt that's the way it is...

I would love to see Jolly Roger appear in a Movie, But I dont want him to suffer the same fate as my cuddly squid-man :(

I got news that there be a 4th movie coming out: POTC the fountain of youth. it says that jack and barbossa are lookin' fer some fountain O youth an' they be facin' some supernatural threat. eh? any Ideas? nudge nudge, wink wink.

Hmmm where did you get this news? Because we've known there was going to be a 4th movie for awhile, slated for like a 2010 release I believe.

It was also hinted that it would not be the big "Fountain of Youth" story that most hypothesize from the ending of the last movie, but was to take place in the future, it was even hinting that Jack Sparrow (young forever having found the fountain of youth) would be traveling in flying machines (spaceships?)

Jack Sharkbane is right, It wouldn't be Pirates of the Caribbean if it involved Spaceships. That just sounds.. Un-Piratey.

Jack may be right about that, but from what the producers etc say about it, hes wrong about what it actually will be.

We are all now on a wait and see mode, all the indications i've seen dont have a new POTC movie coming out until 2012, and the subject of it seems to obviously be in question.

So far the only evidence I have seen about the "Fountain of Youth" claim is the final part of the last movie, unlike the comments made later (which I had posted a link to).

Unfortunately the movie business is not about what you think is more piratey, but will follow what Disney thinks will make them the most $$$. A new franchise of entertainment, action figures, toys, shirts, ie MERCHANDISING!!!

May not be what you/we want, but then again, if POTCO is any indication, Disney seldom gives what the people want.

I think im gonna say no...unless they did some redesigning, I think Jolly Rodger is too much of a rip of the previous two villains.

Jolly Roger isn't in any of the films...
Are you sure you're not thinking of Davy Jones? Or even Barbossa?
