first attack at slight distance with a pistol and then slowly fire at him while inching forward stop just as he stops tossing daggers and draws his sword.

You are now to far for his sword to hit you and to close for him to use daggers.

continue to hit him with ranged attacks till he dies using the weakest attacks you have.

you can get up to 100 exp plus crew bonus per each weapon and once got 450 exp
and was averaging around 250 xp plus.

if someone comes along while you are doing this he will go crazy and chase and attack and will take a long time for him to settle down and reset.

remember if you use this glitch you have to use RANGED attacks so sword is not going to cut it.

He is great for leveling nades.

Haven't checked this lately, but all the bosses have this circumstance. First day the boss quests came out I went through most the bosses tossing seige bombs at a distance through several characters.

but he wasn't talking

I went around a bunch of servers and never found any of these problems. I am betting on it being maybe lag while in battle, then breaking off causing it to be glitched.
Jumping to another server would be probably your best bet.

I did ask him a question also, but no answer either.

Mine was "why he was giving such little rep to all the people I saw fighting him?"

I almost laughed watching some of this, but learned long ago trying to tell some people to try something else, just ends up I must have no clue what I am doing. I would recommend all the people I saw on Darkhart try using lesser damage attacks.

So I am just going to leave these for food for thought, with no crew bonus.

Aha! But ye see, just because YOU aren't having the problem doesn't mean others aren't.

Do ye really think that after I wrote above, "...It's always disengage, disengage, disengage" that I would go to the bloke once, try to attack him and think, "geez--he's broke. Guess I'll go play poker"?

Nope. In case ye were wonderin', it was server after server after server. There is a real issue going on that many people are having probs with.

BTW: He did start fighting me again, so perhaps Big D fixed the bug, eh?

It is possible I am not having it others can be, no doubt about that. Servers I went to mostly others there fighting, so I didn't fight him only on a few empty beaches.

Its as well not the first time I have heard, and actually seen this myself. Raider in El Suderon was this way for a long time.

Also when I checked recently could of been a good time.

I would recommend getting screen shots and sending in bug reports.

I did see a few times some odd behavior, after someone died, or jumping back and forth with several targets, but always seemed to never glitch.

I have seen some computer specific issues as well, a good example of that was on test hitting f6 would crash ya. Mac users were not getting the issue.

As with EVERYTHING in POTC the weakest attack always nets the most rep..

with a cap of 100 points for each weapon used in the attack plus any crew bonus.

on no less then 4 pirates I mastered grenades in a single day using these techniques.

level 1-20 takes 3 hours at kings head (before fence update) after that 21 hours at padre del fuego beach for levels 21-25

this was before dark hurst so you can probably level up on him from level 10 and up as he will not fight back if you do it properly.

weak grenades were netting me 35 points each on the veterans at kings head up to level 17 in nades.

I picked up around 360 points this way each

turn with Darkhart. I hope it doesn't get fixed however. It is difficult enough to level nades now but thanks to this method I am about to master. I don't understand why the catacombs glitches were fixed when that is one place good for leveling nades and honestly that area is not real good for anything else. It was fun standing behind the wall just out of sight and grenading the enemy. After all, the Raiders, (three or four of them a round!) could attack back as could the gypsies and the grenadiers down there as they were all range attackers unlike the Kingshead glitch with the fence.

I can't recall ever using the grenades, other than maybe once or twice on the stumps just for kicks, in a battle against the Skellies or the navy or eitc. They seem useless to me. I wish there could be another weapon invented to take their place.:snowman1:

Siege bomb maxed out has been cranked to the highest damage pvp, while most other things dropped. 4 hits basically drops any character in the game, specially when many don't use endurance for max health of 2502.

Pvp has been all the focus, and why doing a solo bb and other game play has been put on the back burner.

This occurs when the enemy loses interest in you, and stops chasing you.
