I agree! Who would stand around and be nice and then delete a guild when they get a promo? and more often then not they get banned. thats seriously messed up. and so are the people who do that.

That's awful. It's also one of the reasons why Parrotheads is a small guild. I "know" the members of Parrotheads. I want to grow the guild, but not at the expense of not getting to know the new members.

reading all this was informing and interesting.......

but think of this: there are some guilds that i've see that are made for one thing: to send out members and destroy other guilds. Their only purpose in those guilds is destruction. chaos, in other words. I had expereinced what its like in that guild; all they talk about is who to tear down next.

Thanks for the heads up Bart. I had no idea that this type of behavior was going on. Guess I was just lucky enough to be lost in my own little world of tight-knit friends on the game. But, being that we are starting to expand our small guild, find this information very useful. I too get random friend requests every time I play. I give them the benefit of the doubt and keep them for a bit, if they dont talk or respond if I talk to them, i delete them a.s.a.p. I'll have to be a little more cautious with that now too i guess. I also had a brief encounter with a griefer. I had just logged on, and went to Abbassa Tortuga to see what was happening. Not even 30 seconds after getting to the beach, I get a whisper saying "I want you to know I just reported you." I tried to rationalize it by thinkining that maybe he just clicked on the wrong person to whisper to, but it woul have been the same menu to report someone too. Just shows you how random these guys are. I found him, whispered to him and asked him if he had gotten the right guy, and the coward took off lol. Happy pirating!
